We can talk about free agents and where they sign here.

TChandler to the Knicks was a smart move and allows Amare to be a full time PF. They will waive Billups though which means they'll be in a huge need for a good PG. Baron could be a good option for them and rather cheap since the Cavs will have to pay his remaining two years anyway. If he does go there, the Knicks will definately be contenders, but the big issue will be attitude, as the big three then would likely want to be the man, though could blend real well.

CButler signed with the Clippers and that surprised me, as they are not a contender and he would have been smarter to go to one, like the Spurs or Heat, who got Battier as well.

Battier signed with the Heat and that is a very smart move for both parties. He is a very good role player and defender, who could be a real difference maker, even starter if either Lebron or Wade got injured.

Definately. He was smart about it and took the most money since he is quite injury riddled. Still, he should have gone for a championship possibility instead at this stage in his career I think.

Also, Arenas has just been let go by the Magic, with the Amnesty. For cheap, I'd get him to come off the bench at both guard spots. A potentially great three guard rotation that would be, possibly one of the best ever offensively

David West is a Celtic.. a Interesting PIECE in the Chris Paul sweepstakes if Paul decides not to resign with the LAKERS!

Apparently DWest has not signed just yet with the Celts, that deal is said to be hard to complete, but if he does go there, a very good signing by them and maybe they then can do a deal of Rondo for Paul and then maybe start attracting more young star types in order to transition from the RAllen/Pierce/KG era, as all three will retire soon.

Also, RHamilton is set to go to the Bulls after he is let go by the Pistons. That could be a very good move by the Bulls, as long as they don't sign the aging Hamilton for that many years and for that high a salary.

Lakers traded Odom to Mavs for a TE. They maybe would have been better off trying to trade him in a package for DHoward, maybe something like Odom and Byum, throw in a filler or two for DHoward. That would have allowed them to keep PGasol and have a monstrous three headed monster with Kobe added to the big two.

With the Lakers now apparently not going after Paul, maybe the Warriors can look to get him by giving Curry and filler

Pitty for Celts as that would have been a piece that could have set the Cetls up to get two or three more very good players to keep them a good team in the future
