yep.... i stayed up 2 past my bedtime to watch the entire game. If they would have lost, I would have been pissed at myself... but they won, so good start.

The penalties are pissing me off... they been doing this for over 10 years now. They gotta knock it off if they want to go to the playoffs.

More like 20+ years, Raiders have always had stupid penalties. Good on ol' SeaBass - that 1st round pick paying massive dividends.... But seriously, I think the Raiders should give the Chargers a run for their money if they can keep the ball moving on the ground. WTF is wrong with Bronco fans!?! Screaming for Tebow - idiots.

We still down for the ol' sig bet pawno? Smith vs Campbell - QB rating right?

After week 1:
Alex Smith: 90.4

Thanks for the reminder JREED :-)

pretty close thus far. Allthough my Boi played in the wet on the road & your boi had a home game against the team that will be draftind Andrew Luck.

i guess I'm a little more confident with the way DHB has been balling in the preseason & then 4 catches for 44 yards against Denver... Not ready to justify the 7th pick of the 2008 draft.. But certainly im considering removing the Bust tag from DHBUST (allthough 7th pick in a draft means u gotta do more then 4 catches for 44 yards - still solid way to start the season for him)

Better hope the 9ers don't stick with this ultra conservative play calling or Smith might not have a chance to throw any picks...

agreed pawno... his best game as a raider. And remember, there was that one catch out of bounds that was called incomplete. That was like a 30+ yarder.... so if the throw was a bit better, we would have seen about 80 yards.

Haha.. Just when he hits a 63 yard field goal you can pull out your seabass jersey and wear it with pride... Now, It's back in the closet til this blows over.

Still close, with Campbell pulling in the lead:

After week 1:
Alex Smith: 90.4
Jason Campbell: 86.4

After week 2:
Alex Smith: 95.2
Jason Campbell: 99.7

lol, who would have thought that after 2 games these guys would have ratings like these... :-k

Campbell played well... without his top 3 WR's and TE Boss... Campbell was able to rely on Moore, who played phenomenal and the screen pass to McFadden, which worked on a few occasions.

When the run game gets going, it makes Campbell's job much easier.

Campbell is 10th and Alex is 11th so far. Amazing. Eli 24th, Big Ben 26th, McNabb 30th.

YO JREED!!!!

After week 1:
Alex Smith: 90.4
Jason Campbell: 86.4

After week 2:
Alex Smith: 95.2
Jason Campbell: 99.7

After week 3:
Alex Smith: 91.3
Jason Campbell: 93.8

I'm suprised by Alex Smith accuracy.. top 5 in the league on 68.9%. I might give him a hard time a lot of the time but perhaps I'm use to seeing him getting sacked a lot ... I'm unaware if sacks count into the QB rating equation but Alex has 11 & Jason Campbell has 2... I guess Alex Smith behind a better OLine could mean better production.. i do like your Iupati guy.. I think he will be special.. Not sold on Davis.. But they are both young!!!

Our oline might be the worse in the league (maybe behind the Bears), their ineffectiveness has caused Harbaugh to really curtail the play calling. For the record I was a big time Alex hater in recent years, but it wasn't until I saw him late in the 2009 season that I thought that he could end up being a productive NFL QB. I'm not surprised by what he has done thus far, he has some bad throws and holds on to the ball, every now and again, but he has been good enough. I have to admit that Campbell looks much better than I had guessed - not really because I doubted him so much as I doubted that system, but I couldn't be more wrong about that thus far. I just remember the Campbell that would trying to extend the play until the point where any play he could make (outside throwing the ball away) would be a bad play, but he's looked good thus far.

campbells had one great game... and that was in the lost (he helped up remain close). He has managed the team well on the two wins, even though he hasn't had to do too much. Our running game (aka MVPfadden) has been amazing, along with our OLine playing well

Jason Campbell: 99.7

Alex Smith: 91.3
Jason Campbell: 93.8

After week 4:
Alex Smith: 97.7
Jason Campbell: 89.1

Alex pulls back into the lead and establishes some distance - still a close race, still can't believe the productivity from either one of these guys. I would have figured it would have been something like:

Alex: 81
Campbell: 77
