Okay, first time in a keeper league so this will sound stupid, but if I have the first pick it makes no sense for me to keep anyone correct??

Hey Pawno, shouldn't the keeper picks be skewed as a snake. I see Hobbes and Fine both on the top of choosing bother 1a and 1b, while JREED is in the end of both rounds.
BTW, I am not keeping anyone from last years team, so i am picking. Oh and I will be making my crazy fantasy league as well. It should be during mid August, and It will be a live draft as always. More details will follow on a separate thread. |

Draft order was determined by finals record and then consolidation finals records. |

That is correct, the order I mean. The reason why it is referred to round 1a and round 1b is because the snake draft doesn't kick into affect until Round 2. Its because the logic is that the person drafting at the end rounds would have stronger teams by definition of team record. the people at the start of round 1a or round 1b have crap teams and most likely would be keeping no one and trying their luck again. We should start this draft next monday... the only issue currently that we have is, I have not heard from warriorsstepup or gsw united... in the case we don't hear from them their talent will be put back into the pool. (10team league as opposed to 12) |

BTW guys..
I've decided to put Aaron Rodgers back into the talent pool.. I'm going to go with Darren McFadden & LeSean McCoy.. I've updated the spreadsheet. If we are going to start drafting on Monday... I suggest we have all our keepers locked in by Sunday Midnight!!! We will all get a better idea with free agency over the weekend. We will probably roll with a 24 hour limit rule so the draft at least gets finished by start of September. |

How long do we have to "release" our potential keepers? Should be right before the draft - I wanna see how the Gore hold out plays out.

I think Pawno set Sunday as the deadline to decide on the keepers - with the draft starting Monday.
