Lakers would salivate at any deal including Curry... imagine them with steph leading things

I guess they do need a PG much less than a Center.

To be honest, I would give Curry for Bynum, but I reckon Curry might be worth a little more, though likely the Lakers would think the opposite and want Curry and one more player, a bench player. Center is harder to get than PG, so I'd do such a trade and then look hard to trade AB for anything really ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I wouldn't give Curry for Bynum, let alone Curry and something else for Bynum. I think Curry is a better player, cause I think it's a bit easier for Bynum to get some good stats when he is surronded with players like Kobe and Gasol. And he is also injury prone, and I don't think we need another one injury prone center on our team.
And the biggest reason I would be against this trade is the fact that Bynum is total opposite of Curry when it comes to humanity. Curry just won the Joe Dumars award, and Bynum elbowed Barea when it was obvious that tha Lakers are gonna get swept. So, high character guy > scumbag, any day. ![]() ![]() |

ehh idk about calling Bynum a scumbag. That was a scumbag play, but it seemed more like it was out of frustration because his teammates weren't even trying. He carried them those last couple games and proved he's the #2 center in the league.
dont know if id make the trade tho |

Curry for Bynum would be a good deal for us as far as talent goes, but I don't want Bynum because he is too injury prone.

That's true...Bynum is injury prone but it's not like Curry wasn't rubber-band man with his ankles this season lol

Hmm.. I think we could offer up Monta instead of Curry & the Lakers would bite..
There pretty flexible to go back to showtime basketball with Ellis... They get rid of a big and play C-Gasol, PF-Odom, SF-Artest SG- Kobe PG- Ellis. We could then have a real PG feeding Bynum off the pick & roll. Don't know if the dollars work though. |

I would trade Bynum for Curry straight up because you are getting a legit Center with back to the basket game for a guard who can scores well, but doesn't make good decisions yet. I don't see Curry as a top flight PG, because I doubt his decision making to be a good PG while you can get a legit Center who shown for stretches he can change the game on both ends. If the FO thinks Curry can be a good PG like CP3, Steve Nash, and Jason Kidd in their prime in the next few years than I wouldn't do it. Both side have risk and it is if Curry can be a PG who can make everyone better on his team or if Bynum can stay healthy.

Curry for Bynum and Barnes? :P

Never mind that wouldn't work since Barnes is on an expiring and salaries don't match. But a Bynum for Curry and Biedrins would work.

It seems the idea of trading Curry for Howard has quieted down a little.

Just been bored a little bit today, and saw this thread. It was a heated discussion at first, like it was going to happen during the week, and then...nothing.
