Check this article out. Corey Maggette, Marco Jaric, Elton Brand, and Chris Kamen all pitched in to pay for some $70,000 surgury for their former head coach. This is after the NBA and Clipper's owner Donald Sterling refuse to pay for it. For all the negetive press NBA players get, glad to see these four players being in the spotlight for all the right reasons.

Sterling looks more like an ass after this too.

We know from having him here and that Corey always seemed like a good guy. He seems very religious and always thanked god for his success in his interviews. Nice to read some positive press. I wish he was still a warrior (maybe for less money) but hopefully he team gets out of their slump and he can finally get to the playoffs.

"I contacted the Clippers about medical coverage and they said the surgery wouldn't be covered," Hughes said. "I said, ‘Are you kidding me?' And they said if they did it for one person, they'd have to do for everybody else."
