Anyways Ray now is in 26th spot with 21,795 and needs 21,814 (19 points) to pass Gary Payton.

Larry Bird only played 12 seasons if I'm not wrong. Had he played 15-16 like most star players do, he'd have scored close to 30,000. Injuries to his back is what stopped him otherwise he'd be likely in the top 3 in almost all offensive categories

Your right. Bird only played 897 games and had a career avg of 24+ points per game in 13 seasons. If we look at the all time scorers per game, he comes in 16th.

Allen passed Payton tonight for 25 spot. He is on the heals of Dirk for that 24 spot. At 23 is Clyde "the glyde" drexler with 22,195.

Starting off with:
Ellis scored his 3rd 40 point game last night, the only one in the NBA who has 3 40 point games this season.

That included his 6,000 piont of his career. Does he get to 7k this year... maybe.

Anyone feel free to put stats or milestones here that they find interesting.

here's a recent one: When Jerry Sloan took the Utah job, the Bobcats, Hornets, Timberwolves, Heat and Magic DIDN'T EXIST. Pertinent because he sh*t-canned himself today. Class guy, hope he enjoys retirement or if he wants to coach into the grave, more power to him!!!

Another milestone for Ray, he passed Reggie Miller as the most 3 pointers made all time and holds the lead.... now how many years will he keep playing to add to that. 2,561 in his career:

Paul Pierce cracked the top 30 on NBA all time scoring leaders.
Celtics now have 4 of the 8 active players on the all time scoring leaders list:

http://www.nba.com/statistics/default_all_time_leaders/AllTimeLeadersPTSQuery.html?topic=4&stat=1

Also, Dirk Nowitzki passed Clyde Drexler for 22nd spot.
And Kobe needs 10 more points to pass Elivn Hayes for the 7th spot, hes cathcing up to shaq, who hasn't been palying due to injury. I doubt he catches him this year, but next year for sure.

GSW vs Orlando, set NBA record for most 3's made in a game with 36. 32 was the previous record.

Also we had a franchise record of 21 made 3's.

Ellis and Curry had double-doubles in assists... that was a nice stat.

I also enjoyed watching the end of the game on NBA TV where they were making fun of how Barnett and Fitz were calling the game.

Boston set a new record for fewest points allowed in a game since the shot clock has been part of the game.
The beat the Bucks, allowing them to score only 56 points in the game..... wow.

I wish teams that awful were as plentiful in the West as they are in the East.

It's really sad how the Warriors would easily be in the 8th seed if they were in the East, but they are way out of it in the West.

I thought this video was kind of fun as it shows each one:
