I love to watch stand ups, so I thought it would be nice to share some that we like, cause I can't imagine that nobody here likes them as well.

I want to say we have a thread on this already, but hell we can always add another... Mitch Hedberg is my favorite comic!

Well, you are a mod, if you know where is that other thread you can merge them.
I couldn't find it. ![]() ![]() |

Well, until then I'm going to use this one.
These guys are my favorites, actually. Though, I also quite like Robin Williams, Jimmy Carr, Eddie Izzard...etc. ![]() ![]() |

The Ricky Gervais **** at the Golden Globes was hillarious.. Putting Hollywood in there place.

yeah, ricky gervais is real good, especially love his black pun on 'schindler's list'.
but who stands out is Louis C.K. , there's really nothing like his work. "i wish i was a little bit taller" skee lo

Louis C.K FTW, Gervais is more of a personality than a good stand up comic Sorry Guybrush, but you have horrible taste in comedy, lol. I guess whatever makes you laugh, but blue collar comedy and guys that sing instead of tell jokes are jokes in themselves - IMO. Stand up is an art form, guys like Louis C.K. are the Picassos of the industry. Jeff Foxworthy is like the guys that teaches people how to paint "happy" trees on public access TV and Larry the cable guy is like the kid with down syndrome with a box of crayons. |

I like me some redneck comedy, you know, simple jokes and something that reminds me a lot to some rural parts of Serbia as well, lol.
And I don't see a jokes within songs as bad ones. I mean, if the jokes are good. I like jokes about religion, and Lynch did a few quite nicely. On the other hand, I like Jimmy Carr and Eddy Izzard, but that's British humor. ![]() ![]() |

I like this kind of standup comedy:
Fukin shiit! Real extreme ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Yeah the Roasts can be really funny, but some of them are hit and miss, but the Charlie Sheen Roast was more hit than miss.
|
|
The Flavor Flav Roast was the best I've seen so far and I've seen four of them in the last four days. I saw the Charlie Sheen one over two weeks ago and the Hasselhoff one over one week ago and they were both real good and mean in a crude comedy way ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

To bring this back to life:
JREED was against Blue Collar, so I'm gonna put something else on here then. Though, I don't usually prefer violent stands, with lots of yelling and jumping, waving of hands, and in roasts they tend to go too far a lot, and it crossed the lines of joke quite a lot, IMO. That's why I liked Blue Collar...they might be rednecks, but they tell their every day life events as jokes. And that's funnier to me than saying you'd do someone's mom and such. ![]() ![]() |
