Awesome tracks Alcatraz..

They're kind of "stare at the ceiling fan & contemplating Life" but i really dig a change from my usual facestabbing hiphop.

Not sure which music thread would be appropriate for this, but... Have any of you heard of a rap group of kids out of LA, Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (OFWGKTA)? I heard about them a few months ago and have been kind of listening to them on and off - I'm still not sure if I'm a fan or not, but I like some of their **** and if nothing else they're intriguing. Here is their most popular video from their most popular artist, Tyler the Creator - Yonkers:

I'm not a big fan of his, but that song has been getting play on MTV and stuff and he is the most popular.

Here is Earl Sweatshirt, he was like 15-16 when he recorded his material before his mom sent him off to boarding school in Samoa because she didn't like his lyrics. He is probably my favorite and the most talented; this is his most popular song but not my favorite:

Here he is with Tyler, I like this verse:

Here is a personal favorite of mine by Hodgy Beats of Mellowhype:

Here is Casey Veggies, he started with OF and has a little more mainstream sound:

They all have way different styles, as you can see. If you like any of these songs, they have a ton of **** out on youtube and they have a lot of their albums and songs out for free on mp3. Let me know what you guys think - I'm particularly interested to find out where Beast stands when it comes to these guys and the new hip hop coming out of LA.
