A keg now that's a serious matter, they should pull it off.

Poor FT shooting, turnover, bad situational defense, stupid fouls and we get out rebounded by the amare-less suns. We deserved to loose this one. Lin played way too many minutes, he isn't anywhere close to being ready for that kind of PT in the middle of a close game.

Not saying this is going to happen now, but this game is the type of game that made me not watch ANY NBA games for like 7 years (since I was a Warriors fan back in the 1990's/early 2000's. No drive/heart and the ability to shoot themselves in the foot when a comeback was in the works (especially at home). To say the least, I am disappointed (not just because I lost the keg bet, but because I was 90% sure we could win this game). I don't want to even see what happens when we play the Heat or some of those powerhouse teams. I know the Suns were shooting 55+ percent but still...we could have kicked the crap out of this team...no excuse. Just venting sorry...

I'm sorry but this team is playing SOFT on D lately. we are already at a disadvantage with weak individual defense, which is why effort is a must. then again, it's hard to play defense when the refs are calling every little pinky foul. I swear my nephew's middle school basketball game is more physical than an Nba game... ridiculous! Michael Jordan is easily the the greatest ever by far, he did it against mean azz grown man defenses like the 80's Pistons. today's nba baller gets aided with the benefit of phantom fouls, hand check fouls, and superstar p*ssy calls.

anyways, this team looked good early in the season because their help D was prominent and aggressive and made up for their bad individual D. I think they will reclaim it with D Lee back in the lineup helpin a bit - even tho he sucks too but he cleans up the glass and seems to communicate. this team desperately needs Amundson and Udoh to get in the game to provide toughness and D and give guys a break. D Wright needs to focus on D instead of thinking his role is the 3pt specialist. his role originally was and needs to be the guy who guards the opponents best wing player.

games like tonight are why I refuse to ride Monta's jock (call me a Monta hata' if ya want). yes, a great scorer he is (and scored great tonight), but the guy neutralizes that with his crappy brain-dead defense and stupid TO's. J Rich went for 25 pts tonight. Monta's bball iq is also never one of a leader or "the #1 guy." I counted so many bone-headed bad mental plays tonight. retard fouls on a few occasions, bad passes, bad reads, falling asleep on D, etc. he's been this way from Day 1 so not surprising.

please bball gods let us trade Monta for Melo. [-o<

word... it's games like this they need to win if they want to go anywhere. the Suns are nothing special this year talent wise. we should've gone to D Lee in the post against that soft Channing Frye. easier shots were possible against this team. more effort on D, having eachothers back was possible against this D and would've changed the outcome down the stretch. W's are just not getting any stops on D. the Spurs and Suns are having their way with them. hope Udoh is worth that #6 pick.

You know, I agree with most of this post! I was at work LISTENING to the game since there wasn't a video available online and, speaking of which, I think the Warriors spokesperson (via radio) is awesome! I just think Monta deserves a little more credit...he was a great scorer...........and the ONLY scorer until the last few minutes of the game. He carried the team. Coach Smart took Curry out of the game because he was just...off. I think he is already kind of like a short Carmelo...I don't want to trade him. If smarter plays and slowing down the damn game came in to play we'd win more games.

i'm sorry, but this is keith smart loss, again. he has no idea what strengths of this team are. playing halfcourt just to play halfcourt is a dead end. this team has become nightmare to root for. and if our owners are cheap, which they very well might be, we are stuck with this suck.
it's losing basketball with retarded offense and really bad defense.
at least nelson teams, no matter how dleagued, could make you jump out of seat in excitement.
change the coach, do something, this is dead boring losing type of basketball i was afraid of getting, well, nightmares live.
or, should i say udoh and amundson, but they won't help scoring, even may diminish it and we have no chance to be great defensive, not with the players we have, equals, sad future.
i so hope i'm wrong.

We were horrible from FT line. I can't get it why is Monta having problems with free throws. And again the opponents had a good field goal percentage. That means just one thing, we are again disasterous on defense. Something must change, and I don't think Smart is doing anything good so far to improve those problems. We played without Gadz and Vlad complete game, but we had Lin for 5 minutes, and I don't think he should still play.

Seemed like forever, but stat line said Lin only played 5 min?!?! Way to show up AB. Can understand if you don't score big nightly, but 4 rebounds in 22+ minutes?!!!?? Is it possible to address bench scoring in middle of the season? Don't wanna bail on current unit already, but Reggie having a good every 3rd game and NO other bench production is killing us. Hurry up, Epke! Somebody play some goddam defense!!!!!!!!!!

I can feel pretty confident in saying that we are gonna follow the formula that Steve Kerr laid out on the Heat/Cavs game. We will win a lot of games against scrub and middle of the road teams and get pounded by good & elite teams unless we have an occasional superhuman effort. To me this adds up to 30-35 wins. Progress? Not much...

agreed that we're gonna beat the avg / bad teams. I consider the Suns an average team now so they were entirely beatable. I do think the warriors have a chance to make the playoffs though. the teams that the warriors are probably going to have to compete with for that 8th spot will probably be the nugs, suns, griz, or blazers...
these are teams I think the warriors can very well compete with. suns are Amare-less and getting older,
nugs have an aging Billups & may be Melo-less soon, and the other teams roster talent isn't overly
impressive. some things that could help the w's chances...

1) chemistry can get better...help D was much better before the Davie Lee injury.
2) Amundson & Udoh returning needs to provide some punch & depth
3) a trade deadline deal using the expiring contracts should be pursued aggressively

Agree. it's been so long since I heard his name I forgot we even had Amundson! Hope he & Udoh can make a difference. if we're playing slowdown stiff-ball, wonder if we will try putting lineup of Curry, Ellis, & 3 bigger guys at same time? Might as well put Lee on SF since he's not gonna guard anyone anyway. Still leaves 3 people capable of scoring and might keep people out of the lane better...

with lee at sf you put three positions that will not score and an easy matchup for opposing sfs, my god, guys, you are nuts even to think that, haha!
