So who would you guys say is the world series MVP at this point (before game 5)?

That's a good question JReed. The Giants have played really well, but it's very much been a team effort. Nobody has really established themselves as the clear stand-out.

If Lincecum pitches a gem tonight and they wrap up the series, he'd come close to WS MVP (two wins in a world series always good). But if it goes back to San Fran (and I'm sure they'll win game 6 if it does), depending on who bats well, I would give it to Aubrey Huff, or maaaaaybe Andres Torres.

At the moment, if I had to give a name, it'd be Huff. He's second on the team in batting average for the series, has gotten on base every game, has 3 runs and 4 RBIs. That's a pretty solid all-round effort.

But you never know what might happen. I mean, Matsui won the MVP last year, and he did absolutely nothing outside of game six.

The Giants as a team should get the MVP.... its been a truly balanced WS from all players.

However, if the giants win tonight, Lincicum will prolly win. If its a game 6 win, cain is prolly getting it.

Yeah, after the way Cain pitched in his last outing, if he gets the win in game 6 he'll get it for sure. Of course let's hope he doesn't get the opportunity.
