ATLANTA (AP) Zach Randolph and Rudy Gay each scored 18 points, and the Memphis Grizzlies rallied from a 21-point halftime deficit to beat the Atlanta Hawks 115-111 in overtime on Thursday night in an exhibition game.

The Grizzlies outscored the Hawks 42-18 in the third quarter to quickly erase the big lead Atlanta opened in its preseason opener.

Randolph also had eight rebounds for Memphis (1-1). Acie Law scored 19 points, 11 in overtime, and had five assists for Atlanta. Law was 10 for 10 from the free throw line.

There were changes, but none of them good ones really.

It's my opinion and only that really, that the team got worse. Azu, Turiaf and aR all had roles and brought strengths where the team had weaknesses
