I think there is just too many time zones to make it a live draft.
So lets do an offline draft, and get going ASAP. I say lets start at 12 hour limits. We can decrease it if we have to when time is running out (maybe even dedicate a day where we can all go on the chat function and wrap it up so we don't miss the start of the season if we run out of time).

Agree with the honorable Mr. Crackerz, live draft would be cool but too hard to make it work for everyone. Let's just commit to try and pick as quick as we can. As he said, the chat area should be of help.

Well we need someone neutral to randomize the draft order. I don't have access to the teams in yahoo here on my crappy nokia phone. But i'm sure if someone private messages the list to Aussiebeans he'd be happy to mix it up

6am is not a bad time Guybrush, very manageable actually. That time would be 12pm for me and 2pm for Pawno, not so manageable, because I go out with my wife and daughter on the weekends. Do you go out much Friday nights Guybrush, because we could have it at about 5pm Oakland time, which would be 2am your time and 8am my time, much more manageable, if you stay up that is   migya make the ring fall on ya |

2 AM is OK, I'm usually awake at that time, and if it's a Friday night, I'll just come back earlier, though, I caught a cold, so I'll probably stay at home.

I hate to be a pain in the ass but I won't be around Friday night and most of Saturday. I think doing a draft on the board is probably the best way to go, it's going to be tough to get 10 people together at the same time with all the time zones. I can't get 12 people together for my fantasy fb league in the same room every year and we all live 20 miles from each other.

I would be fine with doing draft on the board as well...but if you guys decide to go with online draft, just don't make it be after 5 PM Cali time.

Yea, a draft on here would be better and we could always just pick by everyone's preferences if it gets to a few days before season starts

I thought aussie was going to randomize the order... lets do it offline for now, and then we can designate a day right before the season to rapidly finish the draft (via the chatbox) if we need to.

so board draft it is? Because 5 pm (Oakland time) on Friday wont work for me because I don't get off work until 5 and I got a 1/2 hr drive home...
