1:00 pm Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills CBS 72 °F
1:00 pm Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears FOX 75 °F 1:00 pm Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans CBS 92 °F 1:00 pm Denver Broncos @ Jacksonville Jaguars CBS 91 °F - Josh Mcdaniels has no idea what he is doing. 1:00 pm Cincinnati Bengals @ New England Patriots CBS 70 °F - Bady's gonna be shaken up after his fender bender. 1:00 pm Carolina Panthers @ New York Giants FOX 1:00 pm Atlanta Falcons @ Pittsburgh Steelers FOX 75 °F - Dixon is not an NFL caliber QB. 1:00 pm Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers CBS 91 °F - I'm sure this compelling match up will draw awesome ratings! 1:00 pm Oakland Raiders @ Tennessee Titans CBS 89 °F 4:15 pm Green Bay Packers @ Philadelphia Eagles FOX 78 °F 4:15 pm San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks FOX 62 °F - Hasselback better hope the 12th man is available to block because the Sea Chickens pretty much have the worst oline in the NFL. 9er easily. 4:15 pm Arizona Cardinals @ St. Louis Rams FOX 82 °F 8:20 pm Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins NBC 80 °F MONDAY SEPTEMBER 13 7:00 pm Baltimore Ravens @ New York Jets ESPN - Even though I've got the Jets winning it all, I think they might get off to a slow start since their O isn't looking too good. 10:15 pm San Diego Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs ESPN 79 °F - This might have been the hardest game for me to pick. I don't think the Chargers are going to be that good this year (good enough to win that division but that isn't saying much) and I think the Chiefs will be a 7-9 team. |

ALREADY PICKED SAINTS AND WILL BE PICKING THEM EVERY WEEK OF THE SEASON.
1:00 pm Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills CBS 72 °F - Buffalo is going to be trash this year, but for some reason my gut is telling me they win week 1. Spiller is gonna go off. 17-13 1:00 pm Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears FOX 75 °F - Wouldn't be surprised to see the Lions win 8 + games this year. Start their year off right in Chi-Town. 24-20 1:00 pm Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans CBS 92 °F - Texans make a statement to open the season. Colts O-Line will get ran through. 34-27 Texans 1:00 pm Denver Broncos @ Jacksonville Jaguars CBS 91 °F - Broncos start the year off right - Del Rio starts his last season off wrong. 24-18 Broncos 1:00 pm Cincinnati Bengals @ New England Patriots CBS 70 °F - Shootout in Foxborough ... but Cincinnati's defense holds it down at the end. 35-31 Cincinnati 1:00 pm Carolina Panthers @ New York Giants FOX - Giants don't know how great they are. Not many weaknesses on either side of the ball. Plus, a healthy Kenny Philips and newly added Antrell Rolle should make for an exciting secondary to watch this season. 24-21 1:00 pm Atlanta Falcons @ Pittsburgh Steelers FOX 75 °F - the Burner Turner is back. Healthy. Matty Ice is a year wiser. I think Dixon plays admirably [185 pass yards, 45 rushing, 2 total td's and 2 picks] ... but Atlanta is just too balanced in the end. Dixon's youth will show late. 27-14 1:00 pm Cleveland Browns @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers CBS 91 °F - "The Battle of Who Gives a ****" ... 17-7 Bucs. 1:00 pm Oakland Raiders @ Tennessee Titans CBS 89 °F - Vince Young/Chris Johnson for a full season. Finally. Lets see if Vince can work his magic for an entire season. 20-16 4:15 pm Green Bay Packers @ Philadelphia Eagles FOX 78 °F - Eagles will win 8 or 9 games this year but this won't be one of them. Packers explode. 45-28 4:15 pm San Francisco 49ers @ Seattle Seahawks FOX 62 °F - Gore, Gore, and more Gore. Should be a gory day for the Seahawks. Did I beat it to death? 28-14 Frisco. Gore goes for 125 + Rushing. 4:15 pm Arizona Cardinals @ St. Louis Rams FOX 82 °F - Derek Anderson might not be the best QB, but he can throw deep ... and that alone is [with Fitz catching the passes] is enough to beat the Rams. 31-14 ... Sam Bradford throws a TD and a pick. 8:20 pm Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins NBC 80 °F - Redskins will surprise people in the NFC East... probably the best division top to bottom in the NFL. McNabb to Cooley will be big. Hope Devin Thomas can put it together for an entire season ... Redskins 24-20 MONDAY SEPTEMBER 13 7:00 pm Baltimore Ravens @ New York Jets ESPN - Not as high on the Jets as everyone else is ... 9-7 is about what I expect. I do however expect Ray Ray to drill the sh*t out of Sanchez one good time. 27-17 Ravens 10:15 pm San Diego Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs ESPN 79 °F - Kansas City is going to surprise this season (9-7, 10- 6 tops ... great coaching additions and draft). I love Mathews to death [predicted his 1st round pick status 3 years ago] .. and he'll get his yards [150 total, he's a monster] ... but the Chiefs look to be 10x better this season than last. Jamaal Charles for a full year ... plus Thomas Jones = best backfield in AFC west. Weis has some toys. 31-24 Chiefs |

Week Two Picks!
Sun, Sep 19 Baltimore @ Cincinnati The Bengals won't be nearly as bad as they were in Week 1, but I still like the Ravens a lot. That was a pretty impressive win over the Jets, despite the ugliness of the game itself. Ravens in a fairly high-scoring affair. Chicago @ Dallas Cowboys stunk it up last week, while the Bears really should've lost (how was that not a touchdown to Calvin Johnson? That rule needs to be changed ASAP). Dallas will get their offense back on track, and show that they will be a team of interest this season. Philadelphia @ Detroit I'm predicting a big game from Vick (but so is everybody else). This should be a high-scoring affair, but the Lions are in trouble as long as Shaun Hill is taking the snaps. Arizona @ Atlanta I don't think the Cardinals are very good; Derek Anderson really does have a terrible completion rate. The Falcons will easily win this one, with Turner putting up big numbers. Kansas City @ Cleveland I picked the Chiefs to finish second in their division, and to do that, they need to win games like this one. Their special teams unit is pretty special, haha. And Jamaal Charles is good; stop giving the ball to Thomas Jones. As for the Browns, Jake Delhomme. Enough said. Buffalo @ Green Bay No Ryan Grant, no problem. Rodgers will cut loose, and the Bills will struggle significantly with their running game. It's lucky that they have Trent Edwards at the heading of their terrific passing game. Packers by 20+ Pittsburgh @ Tennessee The Titans are going to be good this year, really good. They will have too much for the Steelers in this game. But I do think they will keep Chris Johnson below 100 rushing yards. I'm predicting a fairly low-scoring, close affair. Tampa Bay @ Carolina Neither of these teams really do anything for me, but the Panthers are less bad than the Bucs, so let's roll with the home team on this one. Miami @ Minnesota Not the best showing from the Vikings against the Saints last Thursday, but they are definitely a better team than what they showed. They'll beat the Dolphins in what I think will be one of the games of the week. When in doubt, give the ball to Peterson. St Louis @ Oakland Let's go with the home team for this game. Plus, the Rams have Steven Jackson battling some minor injuries. If Oakland want to show they've improved from last year, this is the kind of statement game they need to have. Seattle @ Denver I'm nowhere near buying the Seahawks yet, I still think they're one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Broncos will get the W here; Orton is under-rated, and they seem to keep stockpiling RBs. Another high-scoring affair. Houston @ Washington Arian Foster has already had the best game he'll have all season. But I'm picking the Texans mainly because I really don't think the Redskins are very good. It's a borderline miracle that they beat the Cowboys last round. Houston has too many offensive weapons. New England @ New York Jets I'm really liking what I saw from the Patriots. They might not be able to run much on the Jets, but Brady should be able to spread the ball sufficiently amongst his many weapons. In further news, Mark Sanchez SUCKS! Jacksonville @ San Diego Phillip Rivers is a bit of a whiny bitch, isn't he? The Chargers will be OK, they'll take care of the Jaguars at home, but I do think this will be decided by 7 points or less. Having said that, I wouldn't be that surprised if Jacksonville do pull off the upset here. New York Giants @ Indianapolis Peyton vs Eli! Let's face it, Peyton Manning will not be losing three games in a row (Superbowl plus last week). I actually think the Colts will win very easily in the highest scoring game of the week, but we shall see... Mon, Sep 20 New Orleans @ San Francisco Who's ready for the 49ers to start 0-2? Because that's what will be the case after this game. I don't think SF are nearly as bad as what they showed against the Seahawks, but Drew Brees will have a field day, throwing for at least 4 TDs. Alex Smith, get your act together. |
|
Week 2..
Titans....C.johnson scores another TD but won't have 150 yds Bengals...Owen get his new super shoes, TD OWENS Eagles......Detroit with or without stafford, the result is same Falcons.....Turner the Burner Vikings......A.P is Back Browns...still not impressed with chiefs plays...its rain and chargers are not that good without LT and Jackson Carolina....Williams run for +100yds and TD Greenbay....easy pick Cowboys.....hmmm feelings that Dez Bryant will score his debut TD Broncos...hate to pick Denver RAIDERSSSSS......No brainer pick......The strongest opponent for Raiders is Raiders itself. Jaguars...sorry Charger, MJD will score his 2010 TD Patriots...Good D without Good O is nothing... Texans......the atmosphere in Houston is hot Colts.....Brother has more Experienced Saints...unless u have asomugha and revis in the back...or shutdown the WR and u get a chance Just Win, Baby |

BAL @ CIN - I really wanted to pick Cinci here, but the Pats beat on them and the Ravens are better. CHI @ DAL PHI @ DET - Battle of the backup QBs here, I'll give the nod to the overall beater team and Vick. ARI @ ATL KC @ CLE - Chiefs look like they'll win some games this year - but don't let Monday fool you, the Chargers aren't nearly as good as everyone thinks they are. BUF @ GB PIT @ TEN TB @ CAR - The only reason why I am picking the Panthers is because they are at home, other than that, this game is a coin flip. MIA @ MIN - Not by much though STL @ OAK - Bradford didn't look too bad, the Raiders did. Don't have to worry about home field advantage in Oakland - this is what? their 8th consecutive blackout? That's unimaginable in the NFL! That reflects directly on the city of Oakland and Al Davis' incompetence. Warriors need to move across the bay before the same thing happens to them! SEA @ DEN - HOU @ WAS - Is this considered and upset? Not after last week. NE @ NYJ - This one was hard, but the pats looked really good and the Jets' O looked like crap. JAC @ SD NYG @ IND - Indy starting 0-2? I don't think so. Mon, Sep 20 NO @ SF - Can't pick against my team but we are going to need to catch a few breaks and not hand them the game like we did last week. Singletary has to go full monty before this one! |

BAL @ CIN ... I think Carson Palmer get his stats again this week, but a win will elude them yet again... The Patriots & The Ravens both have suspect Secondaries... But Joe Flaccos awesome Arsenal of weapons and the Rush Defense of the Ravens up front will be too much for the Bengals.... BALTIMORE CHI @ DAL .... O-Line issues still suspect on this DALLAS team, however whilst the Sacks might pile up more on Tony Romo, I think there's too much at stake for the Cowboys to lose there 1st game in Jerrys World .... DALLAS PHI @ DET You should be a interesting affair watching the young and hungry rookie in Suh chase down the leagues most ellusicve Quaterback in Vick, when the Eagles win this game there will be talks of sticking with Kolb or continuing with the Vick era... PHILADELPHIA ARI @ ATL - Roddy White show vs Larry Fitzgerald... I got more faith in the Quaterback behind the Dirty Bird Centre... Cardinals won't be much this year... ATLANTA KC @ CLE - Well KC won a big Monday Nighter, However the BROWNS are returning home for there season opener... I actually like Seanca Wallace over Jake Delhomme anyday of the week... Highscoring affair, But Unfortuneately for Pete Carroll he's gonna get bitten by the BULLDOG... CLEVELAND BUF @ GB Aaron Rodgers could struggle against a Secondary here. Butr i'd have to be smoking meth to think the other Aspects of the BILLS Game would trump Green bay... PACKERS PIT @ TEN - Dennis Dixon take note at Vince Young.. That could be you out there scrambling around, i see similar athleteism to the 2 yungsters, But unfortuneately for TENNESSE i see a a way better RUSH DEF then what they saw last week against OAKLAND!!! ... PITSPURGH TB @ CAR - Carolina, Tampa Bay won't win too many games this season. I think they took the BIGGEST BUST of the draft this year in the draft.. GERALD MCCOY is going to get a early lesson on that the NFC SOUTH is a RUSHING LEAGUE (minus NEW ORLEANS SAINTS) ... Tampa Bay gave 3 Td's up to DeAngelo Williams in the end of 2008 in a prime time game & a similar big game will be in order by Carolina!... CAROLINA!!! MIA @ MIN - Favre back home in his Dome! Miamis tandem or Ricky and Ronnie will struggle against a Staunch Rush DEFENSE!... MINESOTA STL @ OAK - It's actually kind of pathetic as too how many NINERS fans i seen expect the Raiders lose to this RAMS team & then go on to predict a Monday Night upset by the Red & Gold over the Superbowl Champions!!! St Louis was the worst team last year & Naw LEANS was the best... 2 ends of the Spectrum & i just see a lot of bitter Niners fans knowing the reality that the RAIDERS will be 1-1 after this week meanwhile the boys across the BAY will be a even 0-2!!! OAKLAND SEA @ DEN - Seattle goes to Altitude!!! I think this game will be won on Orton, DENVER!!! HOU @ WAS - i like the thought very much of Andre Johnson torching DeAngelo Hall down that sideline for some easy scores!!! I'm predicting HOUSTON NE @ NYJ - Short trip down to the Meadowlands won't be no difficult task for New England.. It's the game that will be the issue (not the journey) i'm predicting Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez have better luck in this one... NY JETS JAC @ SD - Until the Chargers sort out there Left Tackle issues with McNeil and there Wide Receiver in Jackson... Well this is a Jacksonville win in my eye... JAGUARS NYG @ IND .. Battle of the Brothers!!! Older one wins by the margin of a BEES DICK.. COLTS Mon, Sep 20 NO @ SF - NAW LEANS.. I pick GREATNESS over HYPE any day of the week!!! SAINTS |

Anyone know if it's too late to join? I tried to join the group and Yahoo won't let me in. Error message says "There is a problem" so I can't tell if it's a bug with the Yahoo software or if I missed the deadline. I was just going to use last week has one of my two "bye" weeks.

BAL @ CIN - Have a feeling this could be a high hitting shoot out ... I'm goin with Ray Ray. Ravens 32 Bengals 29 CHI @ DAL - Dallas gets the right side of their O-Line back. Chicago is not for real. Dallas rebounds in a BLOWOUT, 42-17 PHI @ DET - Holy dog sh*t it's Vick and he's back. Drafted him in my other league <3. Vick is a fantasy monster and the fast indoor stadium in Detroit should be an easy 20 pt week for him... Philly 28 Det 17 ARI @ ATL - Don't expect Atlanta to go 0-2 [though i'd love to see it] ... Atlanta rebounds from week 1 disappointment nicely. KC @ CLE - I don't think the Chiefs offense is where it needs to be, but the young defense [seems like every name is a 1st round pick] has finally turned the corner thanks to great coaching/drafting. Chiefs could easily go 8-8 this season. 2-0 and they're the surprise darling of the league, but they'll even their record out down the line. BUF @ GB - You guys think Buffalo is going to travel into Lambeau field at beat the Packers? Or even stay within 21 points? HAH! PIT @ TEN - Steelers iwll have their hands full with Young/Johnson. Fastest QB/RB combo in NFL history. I think the Titans go at least 10-6 this season. Their D will shut down Dixon and the Steelers O. TB @ CAR - DeAngelo Williams/Stewart will combine for 200 yards rushing in this victory. MIA @ MIN - Miami shits on Minnesota's depleted secondary. Vikings will panic after another abysmal week on offense. Trade for V-Jax happens before week 3. STL @ OAK - As embaressing as this is to predict ... it could easily happen. Oakland is Oakland [horrible o-line] ... Rams win, 3 pts to 2. SEA @ DEN - Denver's running game isn't where they want it to be.. Seattle has a **** ton of RB's. Revamped and revived team thats much improved on defense ... they win again. HOU @ WAS - McNabb keeps goin. Another week is just more time for Shanahan to get that running game going. Won't take long for Portis to look young[er] again. NE @ NYJ - Not a fan JAC @ SD - How shocking, San Diego starts slow again. They'll still win 8 of their last 10 or something to go 11-5 and win the division. NYG @ IND - Hard one to predict, but Indy's run defense is offensive. Bradshaw is gonna slice that field up and rush for a career day. Mon, Sep 20 NO @ SF - Is this a joke? SF is gonna get fking SLAUGHTERED. Drew Bree's will be on the sideline laughing at eating cheeseburgers by halftime. Saints 47 Niners 10 |

Week Two Picks!
Sun, Sep 19 Baltimore @ Cincinnati The Ravens could be that team that takes it this year, the defense is always solid, but now Flacco has too many weapons to throw to. Carson Palmer on the ground alot during this game. Ravens defense, scary still ? yes. Chicago @ Dallas Its in Dallas so I give them the edge, Cowboys are a little iffy, Americas team does not look dominate, but they take the win against the Bears. Philadelphia @ Detroit Ok, Detroit is cursed, teams too familar to a certain football team I follow. Vick runs all over them, Eagles runaway with it, and Peta protests at the success. Arizona @ Atlanta ATL wins, too many uncertainties with Arizona. Kansas City @ Cleveland KC has some skilled players on their special team, plus their running back seems solid, to go with a decent defense, they could surprise alot of people if Cassel starts playing at a high level. Buffalo @ Green Bay Green bay puts up major points against the Bills. Pittsburgh @ Tennessee Titans take the win, Vince Young starts maturing, show poise. Tampa Bay @ Carolina Carolina at home, their RB's are good enough, not sure about the rest of the team specially at QB (Matt Moore), Tampa Bay loses again no surprise there. Miami @ Minnesota At Minnesota, Vikes wins, Adrian Petterson has a major, good mix of play action to set up the passing game. St Louis @ Oakland Lets go Raiders, take the win at home, try to open up the field for the passing game. Seattle @ Denver Really not sure both of these teams, so ill just go with the home team here Houston @ Washington The redskins are forea?, McNabb is so underated, they pull the win. New England @ New York Jets Jets have no type of offense, what was all the hype about ? they showed me nothing the first week and I see the same trend against the Pats. Jacksonville @ San Diego I think the Jags gel, Maurice Jones Drew does it, Jags win. New York Giants @ Indianapolis What a family, Archie should have kept having kids, more and more and more, I say Peyton punks little brother Mon, Sep 20 New Orleans @ San Francisco The super bowl champs show up, Alex Smith learn from the champ Dree Brews. The N.O. takes its. |

Can't pick against my team but we are going to need to catch a few breaks and not hand them the game like we did last week.
