my bad, it seems we don't play serbia, untill/ medals matches (for first or third place, it seems quite unlikely we meet them in this tournament). we have brazil/argentina in 1/4.

Nice, we're going against our neighbours and ex-Yugoslavs as well, cause we play Croatia. I hope there won't be fired up atmosphere as it's usual when those two nations meet. Especially if we take into consideration that Croats are now much weaker team than Serbia. We don't need any more fights on the court (nor off the court for that matter).

And yeah, Martin, we don't play each other after 1/8, cause after Croatia (if we win, and we should), we're going on a winner between Spain and Greece, if I'm right.

Stephen Curry finished with a better performance today, good to see him get substantial minutes.
I think his shot has been off, but that may be due to the travel and not getting much rest. He is not as strong as Gordon so it probably has more of an affect on him.

I am optimistic that USA will win gold, but in reality I am not cofident that we can beat Argentina or Lithuania and then Serbia in the final rounds. I think this is going to be a fun turnament to watch. All sorts of good match ups.

I would love to see a USA vs Serbia game. I think it could be a good game. Hopefully, we'll see that in the semis.

I'm rooting for USA vs. Spain (for selfish reasons).

It doesn't look like they will be able to see each other in the semis becasue of the seeding, They would have to meet in the medals round for either gold or bronze.

I mixed it up in my head. I forgot for some reason that after the game against Spain/Greece there's one more game in between, before the possible USA game. So, even better if it would be the finals.

now on to the next game, between two most classless teams who tanked the games in group round. gonna be nice watching one of these scoundrels get out. hopefully it's greece and serbians could take care of spain later.

There's a lot feelings in games when we play Croatia, on both ends, so it's always tough. I expected close game, not this close, but close, even though they have weaker team. We had a bad day rebounding. Anyway, I don't mind if fe play close games against them, as long as we ccontinue on winning.

The next game is gonna be interesting...looking forward to see who're ve gonna play next.

And if we shot better from 3 point land, the game would have been over when we were 7 points ahead, so that argument doesn't hold water. Actually they came back when they were 7 points down by hitting threes...twice.
Glad we won it in the end, we had a bad game, but at least it didn't finish like against Germany.

wow martin, tell us how you really feel.

I wouldn't say either team "tanked". Spain fell behind in the first few games and needed to wake up. I am confident they can handle Greece, especially if they can get some consistent shooting from their guards, which is their biggest flaw.
