But does everyone like STILLMATIC over ILLMATIC?
The reason i ask, is i'm suprised to see it listed in y'all top albums... for me personally, i respect that ILLMATIC is a CLASSIC, But STILLMATIC easily is one of my most bumped albums and i have it held in a higher regard then NAS DEBUT.
The Rewind track... IS BRILLIANT!!!
Defiantly Stillmatic, although like you said Illmatic is a classic, I was too young to grasp that movement, but the time Stillmatic came out with tracks like "ether" the diss track to Jay-Z, and the intro was so dope, I was in high school then and remember the album vividly. Listening to it now, nothing today compares.
J-Cole is defiantly on the radar, "turn of the lights" suprised that song did not blow-up more, and simba was nice too.
Nice selection Jreed, id rock those CD's as well, am a huge Pac fan who is not right ? Pac has always been there for me listening wise, but like wine his music keeps getting better with time, the words, the raw emotion, the truth behind what he is saying no one comes close to that.
Jreed I see you have some NorCal rappers on your list that I have not heard of (Ant Banks - The Big Bad Ass
anything old RBL and Spice 1), when did they come out with CD's if you don't mind me asking ?
