Best kept secret in the NBA: Troy Murphy
And what that secret is.....I guess only you and Troy will ever know! I remember the good old days of Teagle, Garland, Askew, Mokeski, and even Mr. Jennings.

Better look closely #32 - Phil and Kobe seem just fine, Antoine Walker hasn't been whining much, Brad Miller is having one of his worst statistical seasons and Knicks have a chance but are no certainty to make the playoffs.
Troy Murphy is playing worse than he did last season........ was that the secret???? ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Ummm...
I called the Phil-Kobe fight to hit around the All-Star Break, so give it time... Do you not recall Antoine Walker crying his eyes out at Jason Williams earlier this year??? Brad Miller is a soft center who averages 15 points, 8 rebounds, and FIVE ASSISTS a game (with good percentages). The departure of Webber has meant more touches for him. The Knicks will end up in the playoffs at the year's end. Don't worry. Troy Murphy is still averaging 15 and 9, though! You can't EXPECT someone to average a double-double, the way he did last year! Murphy's a great player without the recognition. The "NBA's best kept secret" (since most of you don't seem to realize what this incredibly common phrase is) means the best player that no one knows about! Troy Murphy's name is always circling the top of that category (he just came out of a slump, you'll see it in the next few games). ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

Shhhh, don't tell anyone. It's a secret.
|

He is the best 42% shooter one the warriors. ![]() |
|
|
42% from the arc...? Yes, you're correct. Murphy hits at least 40% of his shots for 3.

He's only shooting 34% in 3pt . 42 % is his fg %. |
|
|
Check again in 5 or 6 games. His stat's have been tanked due to his slump.

Troy murphy is shooting 43.2% FG and 34.4% 3PT FG for the season! End of story!

Actually, it's not the "END OF STORY" because the season is far from over.

Nice try, #32. |

Hey, hey... the Knicks are making the playoffs. Don't count them out yet. If not for an ill-advised shot taken by Jalen Rose at the buzzer today, they'd have a W over Houston. I admit, Jalen played some good ball this afternoon... but what was he thinking heaving up an air-ball in double coverage, 26 feet out, with over 5 seconds left in the game?!?! He should have dished to Jamal Crawford (who was knocking down J's the whole 4th).
Eddy Curry (when he's on) is one of the East's most dominant centers... Jamal Crawford, Stephon Marbury, and Quentin Richardson are all talented players, but unfortunately need more touches than their teammates to be satisfied (so, the smart thing to do to solve that problem would be to pickup Jalen Rose, right...? ![]() GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS DIE HARD ![]() ![]() |

The Knicks made the trade for Rose just for the first round pick they got. The have traded a few or their picks to Chicago (in the Curry deal), and Rose will be a expirer next season (and even then, they'll be over the cap).
What I don't get is why Toronto made that trade. Rose would be even more valuable next season as a expirer, and they've lost a first rounder... And I don't think the Knicks will make the playoffs. Larry will trade most of them. In the next two seasons, they'll only keep maybe a couple of players from this roster. Then they'll make the playoffs. |
