No computer is completely virus proof, while it is less common because there are faaar less mac users. Virus are pretty much unique to their given OS' but if one could slide in with a cross-platform installation it could infect both but that is extremely unlikely considering they have completely different file systems and it would have to essentially be to completely different program files...

Linux = most stable and efficient OS, but no software. I have a desktop that I use as a Linux server... I only use it to download, host and file serve... Everything else in my house is running win 7 or xp.

Yup that's me, lol, minus the mullet, 100 or so Lbs, glasses, tighties, and the virginity. But seriously, no I don't consider my PS3 or 360 computers - they are consoles (and both are currently broke - too lazy to fix them). At any given minute, I actually have about 10-15 computers in my house because I repair them. i actually only have 5 PCs, here are my machines:

-Acer Laptop - my main general use machine.
-Toshiba Laptop - My girl uses this one mostly for facebook/myspace
-Custom build desktop - my work horse
-Dell laptop - Actually my roommate's
-Lenovo desktop - This is the machine running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (server)
