I know the warriors want to fill a need for a big and also a wing.
I think what the Warriors need to do is talk with the Atlanta Hawks about Marvin Williams. He hasn't blossomed in the ATL like everyone was hoping. A change of scenery would probably do wonders for Williams, and whomever the Warriors part ways with (Randolph).
Randolph, Horford, and Josh Smith would be pretty sweet front court if you're the Hawks.
With the Warriors you got Curry passing the rock, Monta slashing, Marvin running the court along with Wright. Add Biedrins shooting underhand you got yourself a nice starting 5!
Use #6 on Monroe or Cousins, whomever falls.

I would love for Marvin to be a Warrior. He's a glue guy with skills - but ATL was coached so horribly he wasn't used much. I can see him avg 16-17 ppg in our offense and bring solid D every night.
Next to somehow getting Granger, getting Marvin seems like the best and most realistic target. Mr. Rand-McAlly

I'm sorry, but I still have (maybe false) hope in Randolph.

Ditto. More than Marvin Williams, anyway :P "the victorious warrior wins first, and then goes to war; the defeated warrior goes to war first, and hopes to win."- The Art of War

Actually me three. I didn't realize warchief proposed that. I'd be willing to do a Biedrins for Williams swap though. It'd probably have to be a three way. Mr. Rand-McAlly

Yep. Marvin Willians is what he is, a decent role player that doesn't hurt the team, but doesn't improve it much. Just does his job (so, considering his draft spot, he should be considered a mild bust, accoding to expectations). I wouldn't trade Randolph for him. No way. |

randolph is a lot to give up for marvin. if you're the hawks and you just resignged JJ for the max. what is your biggest need? they have horford and smith as their bigs, but certainly could use more help.. would you trade b.wright for marvin williams?

what is with this infatuation with Marvin Williams? Dude isn't worth any of our guys except MAYBE Vlad-Rad. A big man that can barely make it on a team that needs real bigs? We're kinda looking for the same thing, so I pass.

I don't believe anyone here is infatuated with him. It's just a name out there who may be available, who'd certainly fill a need for the Warriors at SF.
If all that David Lee hoopla is legit think about this rotation: Curry/Watson/Bell Morrow/R. Williams/Bell (Monta traded for Lee) M. Williams/Azubuike/R. Williams Lee/Udoh + Wright or Randolph (depending on who you give up for M. Williams) Biedrins/Turiaf Ok so that won't win a championship. But it very well may get you into the playoffs! With a couple other stretegic moves by new front office, who knows? Just a few idea's to shake up this roster... Hope I don't get scolded too hard for these... BTW, no on Jefferson. Not the biggest fan of Marvin but the only real problem I have with that line up is that you think Morrow would start over Williams
