Yeah, let's not draft early this time. Let's just stick to a roll call. We all saw why Bada didn't draft... and he proved us right.
I'm in, though. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

Ah bada just got unlucky with the Slaton pick!!! I kinda like the thought of drafting a little early before training camp cause everyone was warned about roster cuts and early retirments & the only guy affected was GSW United who took D.Mason (who ended up unretiring anyways) So you keen to keeper Xbay? |
|
Before training camp? I'd do either during or after. You never know what happens during training camp. A star could suffer some major injury. Or there could be a report that a certain player doesn't look good on the depth chart going into the season, and that he could lose his starting job. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

I would like to participate but not if the draft is so early. There is no reason to start it so soon (just wack off more if you are bored. lol )
I also dont love the off-line format as it is excruciatingly slow but will relent on that if that is something everyone wants to do. |

hey Pawno, Im down to play this year and however you want to do it, keeper or non is cool. Just make sure if its a keeper league, that there are some restrictions. You want the top (high round) talent to recirculate every year and its later round gems that should be keepers.
|
|
I wouldn't mind waiting a bit for the draft. It'd be alright to do it in August or by mid-July at the earliest. But, for obvious reasons, I do prefer off-line drafts. Although, if everybody wants an online one, maybe we could find a time to do it on a given weekend. |
|
with the time difference is definately makes sense to do it off-line and that is fine. a bit painful but fine with me. |

Ok trainin camp draft it is. I'm happy to do Online or offline drafting as both have there advantages. I guess the longer we wait. The more interest we'll have <certainly feels like there's a lot more football fans around here the last couple of years> . . . . Always next- care to elabocorate on the high end talent pool theory- would love the pro n con break down of it? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .Also i've already worked out a deal with Crackers on my 1st pick- more details to be announced!

Anyone reckon we could twist BIGS arm into competing? I'd really enjoy he's competitive streak & would be willing to change the thread title to fantasy Pigskin for him

For a keeper football league, I would make it so there is a cutoff, only players selected after a certain round could be kept the following year. You dont want a league that never has top round talent available for drafting. |

It would be a shame if the champion (me, dammit) didn't join. SO i am in. Anyone wanna challenge my methods like last year?

I personally like the 2 round rule... But would be good to get feedback on what kind of league y'all want |
