Some news in the NCAA... tourney will be expanding... but it wont be 96.
The NCAA will have it to 68 games all the way through 2024. There are a few opt-out clauses for both sides (NCAA and CBS/Turner) along the way, but as of now, the NCAA will be at 68 for a long time.
As a huge college bball fan, this is great news. I was worried that 96 was essentially a lock. 68 will allow 3 more bubble teams to make it, and 4 play-in games versus the one. I am fine with the change, nothing really better or worse about the switch. Just glad it is not 96.
Any thoughts?

Yeah, 96 would of ruined it for me. I'm glad it's only 68.

Its too bad they cant somehow combine the NIT and the NCAA's. I would like to see the final 4 of the NIT gain entrance into the "real" tourney. |
