But did anyone see that LA GALAXY very own
David Beckham has an Achillies injury & most likely will not be attending the Republic of South Africa
Nah Honestly.. i need to thank the injury gods

This is the best thing to happen to the England team... I mean anyone who follows Football knows that this guy is the biggest Destraction to any team... All the Photo Shoots, Perfect Hair and movie Roles leads him to focusing more on his endorsements then his Soccer skills.
Plus now England loses any "TAGS" it may have of "CONTENDERS" & go about it's business of qualifying thru the rounds and not have the :BENDITLIKEBECKHAM: phenomenon ****ing up TEAM CHEMISTRY
Kind of reminds me like Javon Walker (Was good once, IS ALWAYS INJURED & signed a multi rich contract to play with inferior teammates)
RAIDERS = MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER

Now that Im back on here and noticed this post in here.
I must say that Beckham's injury really doesnt mean that much to England.............I mean, all the "other" stuff you mention doesnt really affect anything to do with teams he plays on, especially England, because they dont allow it.
Also, he doesnt allow it.............because although he does all this crap and sells his ass out so much, having watched and listened to him since he was 17, he loves and places football above everything else.
Now you may say, well why did he go to play in America, when he was still good and could have played on a big team in Europe still............why, if he loves football so much would he go with the money.
Well, he is just that naive enough to think that he alone could, and was going to, change "soccer" in America, and give it credibility.........he isnt a very intelligent man, and borders on child like with his ideas and comments.............he really did want to go to the US because he felt he could change the sport there.
On the actual playing side of things and how his injury affects England.............well, hes been a specialist, situational player for the last 2 years for England, literally only used late on in games and purely for his ability to put such quality crosses and free kicks in.
And especially now hes older, and even more so since weve got Capello coaching the team..............he would have simply been there for nostalgic, experience, and "if we needed him" kind of scenarios.
Still, its a loss and a shame because he would have broken the record for most World Cup appearances if hed played..............but it doesnt actually take anything away from England or its chances, because everyone knew he wasnt going to play that much anyway.
Losing Ashley Cole at left back and then having his replacement, Wayne Bridge, pull out for personal reasons is a
HUGE loss and the biggest issue for England..........and could and probably will be the real "achilles" heel issue.
