yeah, safe to say Curry made me a believer by about the 10th game of the year and then just amazes me more and more every game that goes by.
Lawson was the PG I wanted. And while Lawson has been terrific, Curry appears to be a SPECIAL player.

Curry needs to be the ROY. He also deserves to be called The Assassin from now on.

Welcome back to game-watching Bada, you picked a good one.
Curry was special. Ellis played one of his best games of the season and was great in the backcourt with Curry. If Tolliver had a low-post offensive game... A great all-around team effort, everyone playing to their strengths, covering each-other's weaknesses, and providing key contributions. |
Yeah, no kidding huh. I picked a good one to watch. I actually had a good time... man, I have not said that in a long time. lol |
|
At the risk of sounding like a Tolliver nuthugger |

and better yet, I am sure my son had a great time with his Grandpa at the game.
He got drilled in the back while hitting today in his little league game so hopefully this was a good ending to his day. |

Chum,
I absolutely admit that! Tolliver did a tremendous amount of work down low to help the Dubs win. I actually had written: "If Tolliver had a low-post offensive game, he would be special." --- but then I deleted the second part cause I didn't know if that was going too far, and I had already used the word special re: Curry. |

Chum, this will excite you, Toliver was a +21.
We out-rebounded a team, 42-39, say what. |

Bada, if your son wasn't a huge Warrior fan.... he is now.
|
|
He is definately a Warriors fan but he took Baron leaving VERY hard. YOu know how it is when you are a young kid (he is 9 now) and you have your "hero". He does not understand the business side of the game but he rocked his BD jersey to the game tonight. |
|
Yeah, he played a good floor game tonight. Good d, hit the offensive glass well. I just wish he would not shoot so much. I dont think he is a particulary skilled offensive player at this level (other than the occasional 3). But like I said, the guy has HEART and EFFORT. |
|
I still think Turiaf and Tolliver coming off the bench would be good.
Steinmetz was bold tonight. He slammed Chris Bosh. I gotta admit Bosh looked like less than a super-star tonight. I don't think he's worth the top money. Steinmetz also basically said that a Curry/Monta backcourt isn't a long term solution. They need to "upgrade" the backcourt. Steinmetz went on to talk about the draft. He said he liked Turner but felt we would have to take Wall if he was there for us. He left himself an out by saying "If the Warriors feel that Wall is special" they have to take him. |

I'm still taking Baron's departure hard. When I see him in a Clipper's jersey, steam literally comes out of my ears... lol hope the bruise isn't to bad, and hope the game cheered him up!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3pIsA0Q ... re=related
Steph Curry fakin Chris Anderson out of his jock: awesome! look on Turiaf's face: priceless |
