Kind of suprised to not see one Olympics thread. People just not into it or what?
I have not see a ton of it I admit. The US/Canada hockey game I watched in full and that was awesome.
US facing Finland right now for a chance to get into gold medal game. I dont know a ton about hockey but would be cool to see a rematch of that game. I anticipate Canada would come out very determined.
Overall a very sucessful winter games for us. I am shocked to see us at the top of the medal count.

agreed but I think in part that is what makes it interesting. seeing sports you never see and to appreciate the effort that goes into competing at that level in these sports.
One sport I have never seen that was actually very compelling and fun to watch was that Snowboard Xcross or whatever it was called. That is good stuff.
anyone watching US Mens hockey... they are embarrassing Finland early... USA!!!
What's crazy is that I think they allowed 4 goals throughout this whole Olympics, only to have let the US score 6 goals within 6 minutes of the 1st period. Wow...
The game Sunday will be a real interesting one to watch against, most likely, Canada.

I am so sure I did. It is real baffling
Haha... I was thinking the same thing...
Seriously, the date is from yesterday, but I saw another thread just like it a few days ago. Maybe I'm missing the other thread
At least I'm not going crazy

Also, nice on Bada to not answer your thread and create his own on the same topic. Is there discension among the mods...........

Aha, it's cool man.
EDIT;
Gotta feel bad for the Chile athletes. They're not staying for the closing ceremonies tomorrow, they're going straight home after their races.
Anyways, on a brighter note... who's going to be watching Canada/USA for the gold at 12PM tomorrow?!

Yeah, I thought as a fan, that was the funnest hockey game I've ever seen... i was watching it at the Sac State campus Roundtable, so about 30 peeps were there watching the game... Once the U.S. hit the first goal, I knew they were back in it.
What I loved about this game was the non-stop action and quickness both teams played. Most the games these olympics have been total bores but this one was amazing... and the U.S. tying it with 30 seconds left was unbelievable (the entire place i was out had like a one second delay on the cheer as we couldn't believe it).
Sure they lost, but they were the youngest team in the games. And it was fun. And against superstar filled Canada, it was almost done. Go USA and congrats Canada!
