Why did I like this team over all the rest

haha nosht i find myself asking the same thing. The answer-as an 11-12 year old, my fave player was Chris Mullin. Therefore, this is all his fault

Shout out to Uptempo

The best part of Mullin's game was how he could finish and score around the basket...I never saw him get his shot blocked...fantastic finisher.

Mullin' killer, so close to automatic, outside shot was what I really was amazed by with that man. He would catch that ball, chuck it up real quick and it would be swish almost every time

what amazed me about Mullin was the contrast in his foot speed vs hand speed. It was like two different people glued together. His feet seemed stuck in mud, yet had some of the quickest hands I have ever seen. Was perplexing.

All time favorite players = Chris Mullin, Sleepy Floyd, Tim Hardaway in that order.

Every comment in this thread about Mullin is spot on. He really did look like he was moving slower than everyone else on the court and yet he would make crazy shots under the basket and big time shots from outside. He was also a great passer, especially on the break. Just fun to watch.

Imagine how lethal Mullin could have been if he had played in an offense similar to the one that was deployed by Larry Brown for Reggie's Miller, AI, and Rip Hamilton where he would have been moving away from the ball off of multiple screens to get to open spots on-the-job floor.
