This season, Steve Francis has got to be one of the biggest disappointments! He is averaging career lows in everything and getting a shiit load of turnovers! He looks like he will never be the superstar that it was thought he would be!!!!
He is a troubled guard who has never done anything to get his team far in the playoffs. Starbury clone is a perfect description. So naturally the T-Wolves will make a big push for him, probably giving up a lot of draft picks in the process.
Yeah. Not much, due to the Joe Johnson signing, but still several millions below.
But it's hard to get good pg's (even if Francis ain't a real one) nowadays, and there's no one available in the next free agent market who comes close to Francis' talent. They'd have to pick one in the draft (and I'm not sure if they'll have any picks this draft, as they sent a couple to Phoenix for JJ)
A trade would be a good option for Atlanta, and probably for Francis too.

Well, he'd be better than Tyronn Lue or Royal Ivey...
I don't think Francis has to be a disaster as a pro, but it would take a good coach to make him play like a team needs its pg to play. He hasn't had that coach til now.
Other option could be moving him to sg...

Not anymore. That was their idea at the beginning of the season, but (not so surprisingly) failed.
He's back to sg (Lue and Ivey play most of the time at pg). Although he still plays some pg, it's more occasional than anything...
And the move to pg was a way to try to put in the court al their sf at the same time. He, his coach, everybody on the Hakws and the whole league knows JJ is not a pg.
