Well TMC wasn't here to make the picks... I dont know how he feels with me choosing Larry Hughes cause he was a far way down the list... He's next pick on the list well " I'm not at liberty to tell you " because he may feel he wants to drop Hughes to the curb and pick up this guy...]
But ill give you a lil hint.... His initials are DJ and he turned up today in Fantasy Hoops Boxscores ;-) |

Thanks for the DeRozan pick. sorry i missed the draft. |

Had a feeling you would like that pick. The others at the same position that were ranked similar didn't have the upside or the opportunity he has ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Draft results submitted. You all have to go to your teams and place the players in the positions you want them to be, as they are all on the bench right now. Any problems, say so here

Don't worry, Pawno, you did a good job drafting for me. I'm not a big fan of Larry Hughes (don't even know why he was in the list, in fact), but I've already claimed waivers on his replacement. Last edited by TMC on Sat Oct 24, 2009 2:15 am, edited 1 time in total.

ok cheers buddy.. im just happy that with 20 picks left to go before you pick next you got a top 5 selection and a top 10 with your double pick. Tayshaun Prince at that stage of the draft was a steal and Randy Foye too... nice team bro. (if you win the chip... then i;ll be pissed) |

xbay or TMC, update the first post in this thread with the draft results in my post, which is second from the top of this page

Alright team evaluations:
1. PAWNO - Lebron James, Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Anthony Randolph, Rashard Lewis, Andrew Bogut, Greg Oden, Leandro Barbosa, JR Smith, Corey Maggette, Stephen Curry, Kenyon Martin, Ryan Gomes, Andre Nocioni Another interesting team by Pawno, with no real PG, other than Harris. This team has every position covered alright, except PG as I said. Assists will be real low. Health is the biggest factor here, especially with guys like KMart, Oden and Bogut, which happen to be a large portion of the bigs. Shot blocking looks good, but again, depends on health of the bigs. Rebounds same thing. This team looks like it has most categories well covered an only health could prevent it from being a top 3 team 2. JIMBOB - Chris Paul, Tim Duncan, Jason Kidd, Troy Murphy, Manu Ginobili, Tyrus Thomas, Jeff Green, Louis Williams, Thaddeus Young, DJ Augustin, Chris Kaman, Mike Miller, Tyson Chandler, Jrue Holiday All positions covered quite well. Two great PGs in Paul and Kidd should keep assists high. Bigs are quite good, but does depend on performance of Kaman and Chandler. Rebounds and blocks could be among league best. Scoring looks like a weakness. Looks like a well put together team that could be top 3 3. ALWAYS - Dwyane Wade, Joe Johnson, Rajon Rondo, Nene Hilario, Al Horford, Stephen Jackson, Al Harrington, Tyreke Evans, Nate Robinson, Ron Artest, Chris Andersen, Carl Landry, Hakim Warrick, Brandon Jennings All looks covered, but to me, at least right now, looks a bit awkward. Two rookies need to produce at PG or that position weak. Chris Anderson has to be what he was last season for blocks to be good, rebounds as well. Requires big seasons from Landry and Warrick as well for a few categories to be good. SJack also a real factor and if he is close to what he was last season, many categories increase. Everything seems adequately covered, but the rookies and never has beens need to perform well for this team to be good. I'll go out on a bit of a limb and say bottom 4 as is right now 4. ROBDIKUM - Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Josh Smith, Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins, Rodney Stuckey, Charlie Villanueva, Shaq, Kevin Love, Trevor Ariza, Mike Conley Jr, Delonte West, Brendan Haywood, jonny flynn Some x factors here, quite a few actually. Love is injured for quite a while, Shaq has to be like he was last season, Villa in a new situation, as is Ariza (though he has much opportunity). Conley likely won't start ahead of Iverson for long, Haywood is good but has to stay healthy. West gone through some personal stuff, has to come back well and Flynn is a rookie and has to produce. Assists is weak, as is threes and scoring a bit as well. Hard to tell with this team as many ifs that could go either way. Definately has potential and could be a darkhorse. I'll say bottom 4 5. 8TH AVE - Dirk Nowitzky, David West, Antawn Jamison, Jason Terry, Ray Allen, Aaron Brooks, Tracy McGrady, Josh Howard, Rip Hamilton, Brad Miller, Anthony Morrow, Courtney Lee, Antonio McDyess, Udonis Haslem Straight away there is lack at PG, where Terry isn't one really and Brooks is still unproven and hasn't done much. TMac picked too early. Excess SGs, should have gone for Centers earlier and because of this, shotblocking is weak and rebounding a little bit it seems as well. Scoring looks real good and potentially could be the best. Morrow and Lee are the x factors and both might have a real good chance of getting alot of minutes and doing well. Looks like strongest in threes and FT%. Awkward, but does have some categories real strong. Lack of PGs and real good Centers could be a major weakness, but the other positions could make up for it. Looks like middle of the pack, but could go either way 6. ZSHOOK - Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Gilbert Arenas, Shawn Marion, Jason Richardson, Marcus Camby, Michael Redd, TJ Ford, Lamar Odom, Jermaine O'Neal, Shane Battier, Jamal Crawford, Yi Jianlian, DeMar DeRozan PG stands out as lacking and relies on Arenas being healthy and his old self, likewise Ford, getting back to the high assists from before last season. Only two Centers as well, Jermaine being one of them so could well be one Center out most of the time. Health to Redd really important as well, as if he stays healthy and is his old self, could be one of best scoring and threes teams. Seems lacking in a few categories and strong in a few. Looks middle of the pack or bottom 4 7. JOEL - Dwight Howard, Carmelo Anthony, Tony Parker, LaMarcus Aldridge, OJ Mayo, Zach Randolph, Marc Gasol, Ben Gordon, Ronny Turiaf, Joakim Noah, Kirk Hinrich, Daniel Galinnari, peja stojakovic, Rudy Fernandez Only see two PGs and not many passers on this team. Assists look to be among worst in league. Rebounding looks like best in league. Even with Dwight, shotblocking a average, not that stong and relies on Turiaf and MGasol alot. Scoring and threes look real good, among best. Has strength in a few categories and lacking in a few as well. Could be a top team depending on court time and performance of a few players in different situations, namely Mayo, Gordon, ZRand and MGasol 8. FINE - Danny Granger, Andre Iguodala, Jose Calderon, Vince Carter, Mehmet Okur, Andrea Bargnani, Eric Gordon, Mario Chalmers, Luol Deng, Marvin Williams, Mike Bibby, Chris Duhon, Roy Hibbert, Channing Frye Center is very key with this team and though initially looks weak, the play of Frye lately could make it a good position. Rebounding and shotblocking looks very weak. Scoring and threes look among best in league. Duhon needs to get alot of court time and the assists like last season for this team to be good in assists, otherwise average. Interesting team and it is the court time and opportunity of players like MWilliams, Bibby, Deng, Duhon, Hibbert and Frye that could make this team top 4 or one of the bottom teams 9. XBAY - Chris Bosh, Chauncey Billups, Kevin Martin, Gerald Wallace, Boris Diaw, Mo Williams, Andre Miller, Andrew Bynum, Grant Hill, Rasheed Wallace, Kelenna Azubuike, Samuel Dalembert, Jamario Moon, Luke Ridnour Everything covered. Most categories look quite well covered, but will depend much on health and court time of some players, like Dalembert, Bynum, GWallace, Azu and RWallace. Hard to tell, but the pieces are here to be a top team, it is whether some players perform like they potentially can that decides it. Middle of the pack for now 10. BODYGUARD - Amare Stoudemire, Pau Gasol, Jameer Nelson, John Salmons, Baron Davis, Rudy Gay, Carlos Boozer, Wilson Chandler, Richard Jefferson, Spencer Hawes, James Harden, Sergio Rodriguez, Jarret Jack, Brandon Bass I like this team. Positions filled well. Centers are proven stars and Boozer is a question mark but performs well. Rebounds look real strong, scoring also does a bit. Jameer and Baron carry the assists but both do a few things well. The last four players are question marks as to getting opportunity, but the first ten look pretty dynamite. Team has firepower, it is whether they perform like they can that is the thing. I think top 2 team 11. MIGYA - Al Jefferson, Steve Nash, Caron Butler, Elton Brand, Russell Westbrook, Hedo Turkoglu, Ray Felton, Luis Scola, Andrei Kirilenko, Al Thornton, Kendrick Perkins, Ramon Sessions, Matt Barnes, Anderson Varejao Think I covered everything pretty well. Some proven stars that again should produce. Brand is a huge factor for this team, as he has to be healthy and doing what he has before or a couple of categories weak. Assists look strong, as does rebounds and blocks. Other categories look pretty good and don't see any real weaknesses. Scola could make this team real good, as he should get alot of opportunity. Think I chose well and could be a top 4 team. You boys say what you think 12. TMC - Deron Williams, Brandon Roy, David Lee, Paul Pierce, Emeka Okafor, Blake Griffin, Paul Millsap, Michael Beasley, Jason Thompson, Allen Iverson, Ronnie Brewer, Tayshaun Prince, Randy Foye, Larry Hughes PG looks lacking, with not much after Deron, unless Roy is still counted as PG. Iverson a huge factor in this team, because he can get some assists and points. Scoring, assists and threes seem a little weak, rebounds strong and other categories alright. The court time of Foye, Brewer and Griffin could make the difference in many categories. Hard to tell with a few players being in different situations and their opportunity a bit unknown. Looks like a top 4 team ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Rob, you are the only one here that hasn't set his team yet. What you have to do is go to your team page in this league and place your places in ACTIVE positions. Right now, they are all on the bench, that's how it is after the draft and you have to place them in the positions you want yourself.
MAKE SURE NOT TO FORGET OR YOU WON'T SCORE ANYTHING ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Mig - don't know if this is possible but if the league agree's you might want to set Rob's team for this week.
I had the meaning but missed the experience. T.S. Eliot |
Well, I could do that, but the point of this is for everyone to have control of their team and participate properly, as we said at the beginning. Rob has to do it himself, as only he knows what players he wants where. Everyone has to set their teams though or it will not be fair on the rest of us ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

Dikum broke his laptop the other day, if I remember correctly from draft night. Maybe you can do it for him just this week Migya? (props to Joel for not wanting to get an easy win) Mr. Rand-McAlly
Jeg er ikke enig.... Jeg kan godt lide at spise din mors gris ben. |
