GSW's Acie Law ($2,216,160) for NJNets' Sean Williams ($1,629,120).

he could be our Chris "Birdman" Andersen. can't score, can't pass, can't dribble, but boy can he leap! can also block shots, rebound and play D pretty well. both have team options next year so it seems like a fair deal. Williams has more potential than Law but Law is supposedly a better team mate, and doesn't have questionable attitude like Williams.

I'd like to get a more experienced low post player, but:
A) I don't think we can afford it in this economy
B) All we can offer is the MLE which is probably too much for a player that may sit behind wright AND turiaf.
C) A lot of the old forward/centers on the market are too slow to work in the Nellie system.
D) also we have the option to dump him next year if Wright blows up and if Williams impresses and wright flops - we can go the other way (he's also about .5M less than Law).

Nets need a back-up PG, we need another low post player. I like Beli more as PG anyway. Beli as a PG, (IMHO) is better offensively, defensively, and has more potential than Law.

I think he played in the D-league for a bit after he was drafted. he's not a baller, he's just an athlete (Like the Birdman). Still I'd rather have him on the team than law.

Feasible, but either Law or SWilliams won't get much time with Nelson, especially Williams

sean williams has nowhere near the heart of Birdman. That is the key ingredient if you dont have any basketball talent other than leaping ability.
