Looks like the warriors are interested in Steve Nash.
Any potential Nash deal you figure would have to involve Ellis, otherwise they would be the worst defensive backcourt in the NBA.
still, i'd be willing to part with Monta for Nash, as long as Randolph is not part of the deal.
Nash needs a big 2 to help out on D, just like Monta. Jack could move to the 2, with kelenna and mags splitting time at the 3.
still, i think it's smoke and mirrors to sell tickets. i'll believe it when i see it.

Eh, Nash is heading toward the tail end of his career. Don't know if i'd pull the trigger on that one. I might but I'd have to really consider which steve nash i'd be getting. The guy seems to be dropping fast.

i agree with you all the way. the one huge intangible plus is that nash has a positive history with nelly.

yeah that's why i might do it. Intriguing, because of monta's "off" year as well.

I wouldn't do it, Nash is nearing the end of his career, give him two or three more years and he retires. For an expirer or something like Maggette for Nash, I'd do it, nothing else really ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

i think most would agree that nash only has 2-3 more good years in him, and his position is the toughest to play. still, he seems to be healthier than baron and he's 5 years older.
even at his age, and despite his slower footspeed and notoriously bad D, i'd love to land nash. he's smart, and most importantly, he can be trusted to run the floor and make his team mates better. the warriors have plenty of youth, they need someone experienced that the young players can learn from, and that ain't jack and his terrible habits. steve nash would be huge, despite his limitations. and nelly would give him free reign like he did with baron. he's definitely a much smarter player than baron, and he's a class act all the way. sigh. wishful thinking. |

heh, after you make the link, you have to manually set the font color blue by highlighting the text for the link and changing it from default to blue. yeah, not sure why links don't automatically show up as a different color... |
