This is a trade idea to happen on draft day.

The Warriors trade the rights to the 7th pick, 37th pick, Corey Maggette and Brandan Wright. They receive the rights to the 13th pick, 24th pick and Kirk Hinrich from the Chicago Bulls.

7th Pick: Demar Derozan - 6'6 SG USC

Really came on at the end of the season to show why there was so much hype surrounding him. In his last 8 games: 18.5 points and 6.5 rebounds. Would make a nice backcourt mate to Rose that could be similar to a Baron Davis and Jason Richardson backcourt.

13th Pick : Jonny Flynn - 6'0 PG Syracuse

Flynn would be a nice backup that can eventually take over the starter role somewhere down the line. He reminds me of a poorman's Chris Paul. He's quick and can score, but will look to get his teammates involved as well. Very good at penetrating and dishing out to get other players wide open jumpers. Had his best game when he lead his team to an upset over UConn with 34 points and 11 assists.

24th Pick: Tyler Hansborough - 6'10 PF North Carolina

How does this guy keep playing the way he does but keeps slipping in mock drafts? The guy is averaging 20 points and 8 rebounds why playing at one of the highest levels in college basketball. He could be a nice guy to have off the bench to give them rebounding, toughness and scoring. A David Lee type player.

37th Pick : Curtis Jerrills - 6'1 PG Florida State

first off,
about the draft picks... we only have one draft pick this year.
most likely we will get the 6th pick in the draft (hopefully will get #1!). right now Chicago is looking at the 8th playoff seed in the playoffs, meaning at best the 15th pick in the 1st, the bulls 2nd rounder belongs to the pistons. they do have the rights to denver's first round pick. but it's top 20 protected.

second,
We are giving Chicago WAY too much. hinrich doesn't fit in Chi-town now that rose is there. that gives us leverage.

Hinrich is good, but no way he is worth Maggs AND Wright AND picks.

Hansbrough? really? undersized, slow, over-rated.

I think it would be way better to switch Hinrich for Crawford. Bulls have Salmons, and they don't really need SF. they need a replacement for Ben Gordon (a FA next year). They need a SG we need a PG. Hinrich is a poor SG, Craw isn't a good point guard. both need to be moved next year. they have similar contracts.

Craw and beli for hinrich.

For this team (with a lot of potential guys BW/AR) Tyler makes a lot of sense, even if we have to trade down.

Basketball is a team game, so having a banger, rebounder, back door cutter, a decent passer, a man on man guy , pick and roll and screen guy helps a lot more than 5 off-guards on the same team playing at the same time.

There is no upgrading the point guard position unless we get the ping pong (Rubio, Jennings), and from a speed, and rule change issue (Ellis is as quick as CP3, Parker) and has the ability to match up with other PG with his scoring ability. One on one Ellis can beat a lot of guards offensively, Hinrich is a great college player, that can't help in the NBA unless he got the jumper falling.

Good luck selling Regrette's contract to Chicago, particularly when they've just signed Luol Deng long term contract and Salmons on the books for two more years.
