Man, Pittsburgh has had 2 close games already... anyone think their stint might come to a close soon?

I have Pitt ending in the Elite 8. I think they'll lose to Villanova. Or... at least I hope, since I have Villanova in the Final 4.

But damn, that ending to the Mizzou/Marquette game was awful. Mostly, because I chose Marquette.

I was routing for Marquette but had a feeling Mizzou would win it...

Sorry Xbay. I wish I could have warned you.

I almost had a great day. Xavier not advancing isn't going to put a big dent in my bracket, since I had them going down to Nova in the next round. Pitt is at the end of their road...

I have Pitt losing to Nova, too. UNC, Oklahoma, Michigan St, and Louisville all need to win to give me some hope of winning this thing. Then, I need Louisville, Nova, and UNC to advance to the Final Four with UNC advancing to the championship game.

Conn is going to lose to Mizzou (the fastest 40mins in basketball)

wow, mizzou is something special arent they? Purdue, although they lost, are gonna be awesome next year. All 5 starters returning. Pitt still inconsistant and lazy.

Those are my notes... still got more essay writing... :banghead:

I totally called that Missouri win. Told you guys they were dangerous!

I really wish Washington hadn't screwed up though 'cause Purdue just wasn't ready last night, a Washington-UConn game would have been much more competitive.

Oh and...Duke sucks!

And I think it was about two years ago that Washington squared off with UConn with the Elite 8 on the line, too. And who won that game? The Huskies. And who was on that team? Brandon Roy. Not so sure they'd win this time, but I agree, the Huskies would of probably done better against UConn. (I was going to say Huskies again, but it sounded funky to me.)

Oh... it was three years ago at the 2006 Tourney.

Getting kinda confused about which Huskies team you were talking about, hopefully you meant to say that it was the UCONN huskies with Rudy Gay who went on to beat the Brandon Roy led Wash. Huskies team in OT. I remember that great game with those two going at it, even getting into an altercation causing double Ts. But it was Uconn who came away victorious that night.
As for this year, this team is on a mission. Thabeet is 2 much of a presence inside, and forces teams into becoming jump shooters. They also have one of the best PG in the nation in AJ Price. I like Mizzou but dont think they have the size to match up with UCONN. Carroll and Lyons will have a tough time with THabeet and Adrien down low.

yeah, nice call on Mizzou Capt. You nailed it before the tourney even started. Maybe you are not as bad at this than you think.
