And proving me correct the Clippers lose to the Kings.
Just like us.

even more proof
clipper lose to cavs after leading nearly the whole game. not a lebron buzzer beater but a daniel gibson 3 pointer with 6 secs left. Then a very warrioresque inbounding play where Zbo throws up a airballed 3. also forgot to mention it was also a return night for a long injured played who missed 48 (Kaman) just like monta returend after missing like 30+ games to play the cavs. |

i think what david means is that there aren't "made for TV" type people. Well at least not GP. Gary Payton is obsess with Gary Payton. =But the two actually have good chemistry with one another, so i have no complaints from either of them on NBA TV |

Any thoughts on the NBA playoffs?
I'm slightly surprised by the Blazers standing. I knew they could win that many games, I just didn't think they would finish ahead of so many good teams. I can't seem to take Denver too seriously but they have a great record. Who has the best chance to beat the Lakers? In the East, will it be Celtics, Cavs? or will the Magic, Hawks, or 76'ers surprise everyone? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3pIsA0Q ... re=related

well theres a giant decline in the west. Spurs aren't playing as well as they used to. Manu is still coming back from being injured. Bowen is no longer their top defender so there defense isn't as good. Suns are no longer are top team. No amare pretty much finished them. Mavs have been slipping since 2007 so no surprise there. Hou is the same as always That's why Blazers are so high. Me too, I can't take Nuggets too seriously.. probably because Melo is on the team. |
Well, it's a bad year for those hoping to see the Lakers not winning the west. San Antonio is still the best bet to beat them, but Duncan is showing his age, and the rest of the team was never that great. I thought Houston had a chance to beat them, but after losing T-Mac, I don't think they have the firepower to do it anymore. As for the rest, Portland still needs a year or two of experience to be a contender, best thing that happens to Dallas is that Kidd is gonna free up a sh*tload of money after the season and Denver... they are overachieving now, but I can't see them keeping this record in the playoffs (although Billups has improved everybody on that team). So yeah, unless an injury derails them, it's gonna be Lakers all the way til the NBA finals. In the East, it's a three team race, with Boston, Orlando and Cleveland having a chance to make the finals. It's too close between them (even tho I consider the Magic a step below the other two). If anybody has a chance to surprise them, I think it's Miami, but only if Wade has a monster series AND Jermaine is healthy and ready for war). Atlanta is gonna be more entertaining than dangerous (they'll be dangerous at home, but I can't see them winning a series on the road) and Philly... well, read the above comment about the Nuggets. |

Ginobili is done for the year with a stress fracture in his ankle. Crushing blow to the Spurs. Man, of all the team I wouldn't mind if they won the title again. Anything but the Lakers.
