Heres me rooting for the Suns to get to the playoffs as the 8th seed and upset the Lakers. Man that would be the best ever.
I'd say even better then us beating the Mavs just cause I hate laker fans so much.[/list]

i was watching the suns game yesterday and they were saying how matt barnes and jason richardson was bringing the "we believe" attitude into the suns locker room. with those two on the squad, it's definately not far fetched that the suns could make the 8th seed, but i i dont think it would be as big as of an upset when we eliminated dallas.

I agree. Especially since Bynum isn't expected to be back any time soon. Jackson said he's about a month away. So that's about NBA Finals time, if they make it.

Be great if Phoenix (or Dallas) beats the Lakers in the 1st round, though unlikely. They matchup well actually, with Nash being much better than any PG Lakers have, JRich someone Kobe has to guard and not leave alone, Hill being mobile and a good outside shooter and Ariza would likely be outplayed, Odom having to guard Barnes on the outside (though likely killing him on the boards as he is a fair bit bigger) and Shaq going against Gasol. Reckon Shaq would play close to the Shaq of old against Lakers if they got there. Bynum might be out but so is Amare and he means more to Suns than Bynum does to Lakers   migya make the ring fall on ya |

I only got one team in the NBA. The dubs. No more.
With that said, I'm rooting for the suns to make it in, AND as saintdee says, make a "we believe" run. The suns have my favorite player in Steve Nash, the always likeable ex warrior in J-Rich, the goofy Shaq, a good up an coming coach in Gentry, and hard working role players throughout that roster. (and not i didnt accidently forget amare... i could care less for that dude). DO they have a chance of goin, much less winning? not likely. But yeah i'll root for them. Just not emotionally involved though, like it was the dubs. |

I think it will be just as hard for the suns to beat la cause first off la is a top notch team and la has the refs in their back pocket. dallas did not have the refs every call like the lake show does.

I think the only way the Suns make it into the playoffs is if they pitch a shut out and Dallas drops at least 4 or 5 more games.

I dont really care if the suns dont make the playoff and play the lakers. Playing the lakers is like paying 8 vs 5 when you add on the lakers special guest referees they bring to the game with them.

Well, that's true. Same as last year, sorta... 'til this one team called the Boston Celtics turned those special guest referees against them. Not that I had a problem with it and all... Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.
