I used to paint a little, mainly abstract stuff, just letting ideas come out and develop as I paint it, heres one =

Wow deep fried Cheesy Licorice....
I LIKE MY MAN.
Yes that is a basketball...
I will wait for our United States Counterparts (Who will probably be bigger and better ABSTRACT art fans then us... Cause thats just the state of the board)
lets see there thoughts on my painting and "your cheesy licorice" before i go into depths of my art.
Cheers man.............Ive never named it either, so I think Ill use yours.
Im a big Jackson Pollock fan, and the stage I went through when I did that one was largely inspired by him.............heres my favourite Pollock =
Funny/stupid story about this painting actually.
Last time I came over to the Bay Area, I bought a real high gloss print of this (as I had never found one over here) picture to come and frame as it is my fav.
I had in a roll tube of course, and when I arrived at the airport to come hom, I went to the bathroom............then I went through baggage check and that crap, went and sat in the lounge to wait for my plane to board.
When the announcement came up that there was 30 mins before board, I thought Id check all my gear...........and realised the painting wasnt with me.
I then had a image flash in my head of me putting it down in the corner of the bathroom to do my bidness.
So I went all the back out through security, back to the bathroom, checked in there and it had gone..........went BACK through freakin security/passport checks again and boarded my plane just as they were closing the door!!!
Man, pissed me off as I still have never bought another print like that.
