From ESPN
The Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings reached tentative agreement on Wednesday to trade Andres Nocioni, Drew Gooden, Michael Ruffin and Cedric Simmons to the Kings for Brad Miller and John Salmons.
The Kings then turned around and shipped Ruffin to the Portland Trail Blazers for forward Ike Diogu and cash considerations. The Kings waived guard Quincy Douby and veteran Sam Cassell, acquired on Tuesday from Boston, to make room for their new players.

I'm not a Kings fan but I hope Diogu can make a good career now, as it looks like he could get a chance to be their PF

Nah, Thompson has that position locked, and Gooden will be his backup as soon as he can play again. |

Yeah, plus he's never established a defensive game. Diogu really won't do anything there. Thompson and Gooden are their guys. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

Well Hawes has to play well, because if he doesn't, Gooden (who's injured right now), will startat Center a bit. Reckon Diogu has the best chance he's had since being on the Warriors to make a name for himself, a good one that is. He has more offense inside than anyone else for the Kings and he has to go hard right away to see if he can get some big minutes ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |
