Notes
Greg Anthony's recent column on how the West will finish for the playoffs.

Listed as 6th seed. Sonics. They're obviously making the adjustment under coach Bob Weiss. Luke Ridnour and Ray Allen are keys. Last year was big for the team's confidence. I think they'll have enough for the playoffs.

Listed as not making it. Warriors. This team has always had injuries. And I can't remember the last time Baron Davis played a full season.

The Warriors are much more talented than the Sonics and should really thrash them but the way they have played all sason, it will probably be a close game.

As far as Greg Anthony's column - Greg could never play a whole lot so he doesn't know!

The Sonics are a bit unpredictable. They have almost the same talent of last season, so they definately can be a contender for the playoffs...

But we're coming from two straight losses, it's time get back on track.

Warriors +5.

Be great to se if JRich out plays Allen. Rasgard Lewis coulf really have a huge game because the Warriors don't have a SF that can guard him, not with Pietrus out. Say Warriors by 8 - 14

I'm saying around +5

If the Kings can beat the Sonics, the Warriors should run through them. This will snap the losing streak.

The Warriors should ba able to handle this team. They are no Suns or Pistons and the Ws almost (should have) beat them.

As weak as I think the sonics are, they can be a hot team at times. Wonder if they are interested in Lewis for Artest.......... something tells me that may happen

Don't think so. It would be a good trade for Indy, tho. Now that they're forced to trade him, the offers won't be as good as they should...

I reckon the sonics would be very interested! Artest brings more than Lewis right now and the defense is something that the sonics crave. They are in need of upgrades and they could be stupid enough (or lucky enough) to do that trade

that would be a bad trade for seattle, especially considering the circumstances. Now that teams know Artest HAS to be traded, they need not offer up as much talent as they would otherwise.
