If the Warriors seriously wanted KG, now could be a real possibility! Since Artest wants out of the Pacers, a 3 team trade could be engineered.

Possibility:
Warriors - Murphy or Diogu, Dunleavy, Taft or Foyle or Fisher
Pacers - Artest and Croshere or Granger or Tinsley
TWolves - Garnett

Result:
Warriors - Garnett
Pacers - Dunleavy and Taft or Foyle or Fisher
TWolves - Artest and Croshere or Granger or Tinsley

Wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks threw everyone they on their team right now have into landing both Artest and KG

So Indy would get the worst players on our roster for Artest so we can grab KG?. I don't get it...

And, instead of going for KG, why not make the trade for Artest?, sf is our most glaring need...

I don't think Murphy or Diogu (not to mention some of the others I included) are the worst on our roster........

Artest has attitude problems and is not as good as KG. Also, Bird would want alot for Artest, while McHale might just want to get a trade over and done with, as long as it is alright. KG is better hands down

Yeah, but the others are. What I mean is that in that trade, you're not giving up any of our stars, Indy is not getting equal value. Murph or Diogu are there just to tease them into that trade.

And, btw, why wouldn't Indy make that trade straight for KG?. I mean, Artest for KG + fillers. Why get the Warriors involved when they're not giving enough for either one?.

After the shock of Artest wanting out, the Pacers will be looking to get rid of him and get at least a capable PG and, if they can, a Center as well. They have Stephen Jackson and Granger who can play SF, so they will not be needing in that position. SG can be filled easily
