Best thing he did during his Warrior days. I couldn't stand Carlesimo. If there's a poll for worst Warrior Head Coach all time, he'd get my vote for sure.

That was disgraceful! The choking incident was a disgrace as well! He wanted to leave and left like that! He should have been a man about it all

Rick Barry led a Cinderella Warrior Team To A Huge upset for A Championship and has been screwed by You guessed it (The Haters) ..It's a shame this man has been slandered and not given the oppourtunity to Give back to the game of Basketball in some capacity which is what he would Love to Do.. Come on Mullin Give Rick A Scout or Consultant position or something...Is it possible history could repeat itself 20 years later with Baron Leading A Cinderella Warriors Team to The Trophy ? One can Dream..............
The Broe Knows Dont Hate....

Would be great but here's a dream - Dunleavy playing better and.............. (here's an impossiblity) playing something like RICK BARRY did

Impossible is nothing. Career seasons happen all the time. It would be a huge shock to see Mike average 25 points a game... not because he can't do it, but because Baron and Jason are on the team and they are both better established scorers. But, hey, I'd love to see it.

TMC!!! they were great. but wilt he was the bomb. scored 100 pts a game. averages 50 pts a game once and got rookie of the year along with his MVP in the same year.
WARRIORS ARE THE B-O-M-B. #00

Barry, Chamberlain, and Mullin are neck-in-neck so far... Mully started with a 5-1 lead on everyone, but the old school fans are chiming in now.

The problem with Mullin is that he'd never won anything with the Warriors, while Barry and Wilt did it. That's why he can't be better than third...
But I supposse he has the chance to do it now, even if it's not on the court. |

Yes, very true! The fact that the Warriors didn't win wasn't his fault; he carried them as far as he could by himself! Mully's legacy shouldn't be looked down on just because rings are the easiest thing people can get away with when judging who's the best player of all-time.

I agree, it's not Mullin's fault that he didn't get a championship in the Warriors and that doesn't change the fact that he is one of the best players in the Warriors' history.
One could use the fact that him not getting named as one of the top 50 plyers in nba history and Rick Barry being included as a reason why Barry is better. Mullin didn't play at the level that he did in the late 80s and early 90s for his whole career. He was great for about 5 or 6 years while other superstars are greta for at least 10 years. That is something that I see with Mullin's career that is both strange and a dampener on his value. Had he played great for almost all of his career, he would have been easily included in the top 50 ever ![]() ![]() migya make the ring fall on ya |

I think the overall memory of him will be a great one. Fans often remember players at the height of their careers. I'd say that Barry and Mullin were evenly matched at the heights of their careers. One can also make a case for Mullin playing Rick Barry's style of ball in a generation that was already above the rim, so it was tougher for him to shine through. That's why I'd take Mullin over Barry. If we fixed a time machine and put them both against each other on their best day, I think Mullin would be victorious. My opinion.

Sleepy Floyd certainly deserves some consideration...
But You'd have to give it to Wilt Chamberlain. This season is not a flop.
