anybody bothers to say something about the falling rockets?

Yeah, with T-Mac, they're the Rockets, without him, the Rockettes...
|
|
|
with tmac, they were crashed by grizzlies the other night. if tmac's back can make them a winning team once again, they've got no problem at all.

I'm surprised, personally. I actually bought into the idea of Yao improving, T-Mac staying healthy and putting up superstar numbers, and key newbies like Rafer Alston and Stromile Swift piecing to puzzle together to finally become a contender again. What a horrible tailspin their season's ACTUALLY been.

The Houston Rockets function by revolving around there two stars, TMac and Yao. Without one of them things don't work anywhere near as well. still, I didn't expect this! Yao Ming should have stepped up and kept them near 50%. Stromile Swift hasn't been anything special and actually is on the bench behind Juwon Howard (The has been). Alston hasn't done much but he would be much better with the team complete and healthy I think. I still wouldn't count this team out of being top 4 in the west, they can really play and they could go on a couple of long winning streaks and be above 60% in a month

On the bright side, Luther Head looks like he belongs in the league...

He has been good. Another reason why I think the Rockets can really win some games once McGrady is fully healthy

Correction: McGRADY can win some games once he's healthy! Without him, the Rockets are helpless. I'd pretty much call him the entire team because Yao's been pretty ineffective in Tracy's absense.

Yao's been alright, like usual but just hasn't stepped up like he should have. They really look weak without McGrady and that is something they will have to work on and soon!

No doubt. Without McGrady, it's almost like watching the Lakers. Even though they still have a star player, they just cant win.

Yao Ming is doing nothing to disprove the label that he is soft. He is yet to take the games by the scruff all the time

I dunno if he will, either. Many analysts who were riding front seat on his dick a few seasons ago are stuttering some stupid excuses, like he's "unselfish" or he's "just not aggressive enough", but the actual term is soft. Dunleavy is too unselfish. It means he passes the ball away... not that he tries taking turn-around-jumpers despite CLEARLY having the physical advantage on an opposing player. Yao's soft. End of story.

That could well be true but I still think he has the ability and the physical prowess to become a superstar, he just has to have the desire and want

Could quote you, take it back 10 years, and place as a caption under a picture of Shawn Bradley... they both have all the gifts, but getting them to use them is another thing.
