Strange that a player as heralded as Ellis would be out favoured by a player that seemed lucky to make it on the team. Miles is probably seen as more stable than Ellis. He is probably not likely to shoot much but look for the pass more

It's not as strange. Miles has experience as a pg in a good system at the college level. He may have less overall talent, but he's worth more than Ellis at this point to the team success...

Ellis didn't even get 1 minute of playing time.......... even in garbage time. That is not fair and will not help his development

Yeah, what I'm saying is that Miles is our third string pg, so, due to the reasons listed above, he'll see most garbage minutes instead of Ellis. Remember Miles is also a rookie and needs all the experience he can get.

the garbage time that monta is missing isn't that big of a deal. he's getting invaluable experience every day during practice, much like biedrins for the first half last year.

miles' play has been adequate. he comes in for BD when he gets in foul trouble and he usually looks to run the offense and pass. i've only seen miles take it upon himself a couple of times and get really aggressive (he didn't do that well). but generally, he's not too bad. just doesn't have the upside and the flash

I just want Ellis to get quickly and usually the best way to do that is to play some real game time. Only a couple of minutes a game for the first month or so would be enough for him to just get a feel for the nba type game. Practise is good but not like the real thing
