He out runs everyone on the fast break.
He looks really small on the court.
He has good quickness.
looks very comfortable driving to the basket.
Much Better athlete than people gave him credit for.
Looks really small.
made a hook shot over 7'3 greg Ostertag
good hands.
seems to know what help defense means.

Sounds absolutely great!!!!!!

He runs the floor well - Different to the reviews that said he was slow and unathletic.

Quazza - I'm working on getting cable that gives me the Warriors' games all the time, live! Will get back to you and even Pawno if his around

Where did you read those reviews?, the only knock on him was that he was a bit small for his position in the NBA. We were lucky. Had he been 6'11'' he'd been drafted in the top 5.

Hope you get that cable soon, an so you wouldn't have to settle for downloading games and watching them 2 or 3 days later as I do.

I read some 5 or 6 reviews that said Diogu was quite slow up and down the court. Glad they were wrong! He really does sound like an essential player to the Warriors with what he can do

Ike Diogu was amazing against Toronto! He boxed out aggressively (and effecively) every play against much taller defenders, he always hustles up and down the floor, and his post game is better than anybody else on the team... like, it's not even close. He'll be as big to the team as Troy Murphy in time (possibly bigger). Count on that.

Yeah, no team can thrive on its backcourt alone. It can take you to the playoffs, but you can be a serious contender relying only on the backourt.

We already had a good rebounder in Murph, but adding Diogu is a big improvement.

With Taft showing that he is in fact a decent player and Miles being good enough to have a place on the team, the depth is really great. The Warriors can afford to run and gun all night becasue they have the bench to rest the starters and players on the bench like Pietrus, Zarko, Taft and Diogu can all run and gun well

oh ok...just thought the past 2 games (and hopefully more to come) would've been perfect for him to show what he can do.

I wouldn't hold my hopes high. He's not ready for the NBA. He's with the team to learn, mostly. And as we seem to be contenders for a playoff spot, he won't see much court time this year.

With that said, I'd also like to see him play a bit, but it won't happen.

a team can only suit up 12 players for any given game, and he's the #14 guy on the team...although I'd rather have him on the active roster than Miles (who doesn't even belong in the NBA)...so unless another guy goes down before Pietrus comes back, we're not going to see him for awhile...he got to play that one game while both Biedrins & Diogu were hurt
