An interesting trade - Mickael Pietrus for Boris Diaw
I like Pietrus very much but Diaw is doing great this season and is an important player for the Phoenix Suns. Diaw is scoring as much as Pietrus and gets far more rebounds, assists and blocks. He really is an impressive player.
Sure I'd rather trade Dunleavy for Diaw but the Suns would never do that!

No, I wouldn' t trade Pietrus for 5 Diaws. Why?, Diaw is the same player without the upside. He passes and rebounds better, true, but he won't get any better than what he already is.

AWFUL The Hawks coudn't wait to get rid of him fast enough. If a player can't perform in a team as bad as last year Hawks, well, I just think that everything he's been doing for the Suns is more Nash's fault than him... |

The Suns are very good team and he is playing well there. One could say that if Nash makes Diaw better than Baron makes Pietrus better. I think Diaw is looking great and I would like Pietrus to rebound more and get more assists like Diaw does migya make the ring fall on ya |

Yeah, but Diaw can't score like Pietrus does, and is also a worse defender (not by much, tho). I'd rather keep Pietrus for now.

Yeah, I've seen him. He just seemed afraid to go to the rim or shooting at times. Hesitant. He can play, sure, I just didn't like what I saw of him.
I haven't seen him this year, tho. Getting out of Atlanta might have been better for him. |
