Ok this thread needs to be made. It's time to stop talking is Steph gonna make the Allstar team to is he a worthy consideration for League MVP at the halfway mark?
I say yes. The production been incredible. Opposing fans buy tickets to see this man. He has had so many incredible games since the All star snubs that fans don't want to miss the opportunity to say I was in the house when Curry dropped a Triple Double, 50 points or sunk 8 3's.
Steph would finish top 3 in MVP voting no question about it. But is he playing like the league MVP?
STEPH MVP

I'd say he's 3rd behind the usual suspects of James and Durant. He's been clutch as hell, and all those things you said were true, but those other guys' teams have better records and they do more.
MVP voting is kind of weird in the NBA - it's almost like you need to finish in the top 5-3 in previous seasons to win it.

If the team starts winning more and moves into one of the top four in the nba, Curry is definately a chance. I'll say that since he is the new flavour, he'll get MVP if the team wins as much or more as the Heat and Thunder and Curry continues performing as he has so far.
Curry starting to scare me. Only shooting 38.9 from 3's

It feels like the team is trending that way.
Being a top 5 in terms of wins etc.
Man Steph Curry can win this award.
The Warriors just need to finish strong. Steph Curry Is top 5 in points, top 2 in assists, top 10 in steals. Leads the league in 3 pointers made.
If the Warriors can finish top 4 in the West.. I think he puts his name right next to Lebron & Durant in terms of votes. This is the closest MVP race in years.. Which is good.

Still think he is 3rd.
Durant has had most media attention
Lebron second, because he is LeBron
and Curry would be 3rd

Durant
Lebron
Curry/George
Even if Curry/George are duking it out for 3rd & 4th.. It's still shaping up to be the most intriguing ballot of them all. I'd have Curry in the 10-15% of total ballot votes. If it's a close 3 or 4 way race. He will have to step it up like he did last all-star break snub (honestly Curry might have been the best player over the previous 82 regular season games.
Steph is looking for a lock of NBA ALL FIRST TEAM.

I feel like Lillard gets more media attention than Curry. SO i can't say he will beat him for first team. He should, but its no lock
looking at their stats, curry is cleary putting better numbers than lillard. I just feel like the national media gives more attention to Lillard, though.
If you have a vote and you're not taking Durant this year, you either have a vendetta or you're not watching. Hell, he dropped 60 on us. We saw firsthand what kind of year this dude is putting on EVERYBODY. How many wings have lit Andre Iguodala up to the tune of 60 points?... Ever...?
^^^ hint hint, when James Harden started the season averaging 36 and 12 through his first 5 games last year, he experienced his first true bad night against... Denver. Where Iguodala tuned him up on a 2-for-14 night.
For Durant to have absolutely wiped the arena with Dre is particularly impressive.
