He's not coming here. A series of trades happened. We currently own the 29th pick. We're trading down again it hink.

Nice. Twolves selling their pick shows they still have ownership which doesn't care about winning.

Savvy pick; an athletic, 6'4" guard who can handle the ball next to Curry.

Looks like we know who the Warriors are gonna target first for a resign. Ezeli's injury really forced the Warriors' hand as far as retaining Landry. Nedovic is hardly gonna replace JJ, but the Dubs bringing in an experienced-but-young Euro guard for insurance definitely smells like they're going shopping for a big with their MLE. The Warriors have hit with 4 of their past 6 picks in the new era - Ezeli himself was a 30th pick.

And OH SNAP, Roberson's coming!

(Slash that last remark about Roberson coming to GSW; I misunderstood the announcement. I thought the Warriors reacquired him for a 2nd rounder, but apparently that was part of the 1st deal. So the Dubs just ended up with Nemanja Nedovic.)

Wolves forced Malcolm Lee onto the Dubs in the deal, but the Warriors flipped the Roberson pick to OKC for the 29th pick (Archie Goodwin), THEN flipped THAT pick (plus Lee) to Phoenix for the 30th pick and cash. So, essentially, the Dubs bought Nedovic for less than their $1.6 million budget.

This management is seriously impressive. Incredible about-face this team has made with this new ownership.

Admittedly, I'm not as up on Europe as I am with the collegiate game, so I had to watch some footage on this kid. Anybody whose curious:

Well, we had a whole season without a Serbian player. ::razz:

Basically that video 32 put up describes him pretty well. I'll see if I get more time to maybe offer some more info.

All in all, I believe he is, IMO, NBA ready player. He needs to keep improving on his shooting, and to develop playmaking abilities more...and when you consider that Mark Jackson is our HC, he got a great tutor for that.

Just check his first step, acceleration, and how easy he gets to the rim...also add dunks into that. You can't see too many white guys with that type of athleticism.

He does look athletic and from what little video I've seen, he appears to be a good passer with good vision and feel for where his teammates are. His ability to drive and kick the ball out on long, accurate passes, setting up his guys on the perimeter perfectly... Could be lethal paired with knockdown, off-the-pass 3-pt shooters like Klay and Curry.

If he keeps hitting 3's in the high 30 percentile and penetrates anywhere near as well as I've been reading, nobody will care if he can't hit a long range 2. As of now, I'm viewing him as a drive-and-kick change-up off the bench. His athleticism and explosiveness are extremely intruiging.

I think him running the pick-and-roll with our bigs provides a new dimension to this squad. Previously, all teams had to do was show hard on Klay/Steph/Jack and forget about any big besides Lee. This kid can add flavor to that play by splitting screens and blowing by hard shows. It'll be tough for the defense to prep for the Warriors pick-and-roll if he can be that early-Monta-esque penetrator.

My only concern is... Who can he guard? At 195 lbs, he's barely bigger than Curry. Can you play them together? Who guards the 2 in that lineup? I read he's a pestering defender against 1's cause he's lanky and quick, but who then is Curry gonna guard? I'm not too worried about Nedo's offensive game, it's the other side of the ball that makes me nervous.

He can both people with his height and be destroyed in the post, but not too many PG's go in the post. So, as long as he is in Jackson's defensive system, I think he will do okay defensively.
