Good pick at that spot though

C'mon now, Harden and KLove don't play any D either! I got Melo OUTSIDE of the top 10 picks. That's the steal of the round so far, IMO. Arguably the best scorer on the planet - certainly, the most versatile scorer - 4th in PER, 7th in EWA. I was toying around acting like I was gonna get him at #4, but at #11? Please. That's a no-brainer.

Put a prolific scorer next to Gasol and you're in contention.

Absolutely. I had him in the top 10; but I had Melo higher. And even then, it was a tough decision cause the center position is so weak. Now that D12 and Gasol are gone, there's a sizable drop to #3, and by the time you get to 5 or 6, it's a HUGE drop-off in talent.

Gasol is Bogut, only healthy. I think they're quite literally the same player; both play immeasurably great defense, both rebound and box out, both prefer passing over scoring. But, at the moment, Marc can still pop the outside J and he hits FT's way better than Bogut.

This is getting interesting. Good stuff guys!

Personally, if I was Crackerz, I would've picked Greg Oden ahead of Durant with the No:2 pick but that's just me.

Brook Lopez for the Celtics. Centers are rare, his PER is top 5. VA and EWA is top 10.

Main differences. Kobe is 35 with the most mileage of any 35 year in NBA history. Basketball relies more on athleticism than football.

Sorry, JREED is getting Mike Dunleavy. And it wasn't Crackerz' turn, it was PAWNO's, but technically PAWNO's 24 hours expired this morning at 11 AM. So PAWNO is getting stuck with Al Harrington. Crackerz picked BLopez, now it's onto 8th, then me.

Sorry guys, but I've posted 3 times warming that autopicks are punishments and not courtesy's. If you've committed to this draft, please try to check the board once a day. It's not fair for the rest of us to be diligently picking while some people make the rest of us wait. I know life happens; some people have work, others have finals, others have family issues. Once a day, for 1 minute, is not a lot to ask.

If anyone anticipates long periods without board activity, you should PM me a list of players you want in order and I'll happily select from that list instead of autopicking you scrubs. But when I have nothing to go off of, I have to punish those who are slacking

8th's up, then me, Guy, BF, and JREED again. Hopefully, JR shows up and we don't have to hit him with another crap player. This is the first round, gentlemen. You definitely don't wanna lose valuable picks this high.

Next players to be autodrafted are as follows:

1. Andris Biedrins
2. Anthony Toliver
3. Anthony Randolph
4. Anthony Morrow
5. CJ Watson
6. Kwame Brown
7. Vladamir Radmonovic

Sorry guys, but if I don't enforce the punishment picks, people don't take this thing seriously enough.
