Usually I'd say the winner of game 5 is the winner of the series, but even if we lose this game I think we'll still have a chance of winning the series. However, if we do win game 5, the advantage of having a series clinching game in the roaracle would be HUGE. Pretty obvious, but still wanted to point that out.

Interesting quotes from Steph about his ankle etc...

http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2 ... awakami%29

Liked this in particular:
-Q: Did your ankle swell during the flight?

-CURRY: We prepared for it–had it wrapped up and almost like four times the size of my regular ankle with tape and wraps and compression and all that, just trying to make sure it doesn’t balloon up and we got through it.

The series really does hinge on Curry's ankles, and I was worried about how flights cause swelling etc....So I'm glad they took precautions with compressing the ankle and I hope they flew there early enough so that he could rest it.

I'm lookin for Curry to be well rested and hopefully Mark doesn't overuse him tonight. Its crucial that we save him for the 4th instead of using up all his mojo in the 3rd like game 1. I'm also hoping Klay performs like games 1 and 2. Some players like shooting in certain arenas, and since Klay had the game of his life Game2, I'm hoping he likes it in San Antonio!

Go Dubs!

Some interesting stats on Bogut so far in this series:

•The Warriors are allowing 18.5 fewer points per 100 possessions when he’s on the court this series.
•The Warriors are outscoring the Spurs by 16.3 points per 100 possessions when he’s on the court this series.
•The Spurs are shooting 40.5 percent when he’s on the court, 44.4 percent when not.

The point difference seems insanely high, but this defensive production was basically the same when he was prime bogut on the bucks.

Bogut is kind of an amazing player.

Spurs made adjustmesnt, Kwahi on Klay the last couple of games, Green on Curry, so am hoping Lee can play if not, we need big games from a combo of Jack/Landry/Barnes to pull this win.

Great stats! Bogut effect is real. He is plugging the paint and the %'s point to the fact that SA is shooting more jumpers, further away from the basket, and that Bogut is really altering shots in the paint as well. I think people are overlooking his defense and rebounding. He is averaging 14 boards a game against SA!

We need to start doing a better job contesting shots and forcing missed FGA. When we do get stops, we need to push the ball up the floor. We need to up the tempo and get these 40 yr old Spurs winded.

I don't think Barnes even realizes just how good he could be, he could be the best player on this team.

We get mugged - no foul. We barely touch them - they blow the whistle. I hate NBA refs.

No. This game has been officiated well thus far.

I think Bogut is hurt.

I feel like Steph isn't showing good body language. He looks frustrated that he can't move as quick as he wants or that he can shoot off that bum ankle. Think MJ needs to rest him in favor of other lineups. He should limit the amount of defense he needs to play. SA is running multiple screens against him with different players and he is having to fight through screens therefore he is tiring more quickly.

Put Draymond and Bogut in with Klay Barnes and Jack.
