I don't think they make the playoffs without the all star PF

Is Derrick Rose expendable because the Bulls are doing well without him? Not comparing the two but same premise.

Everybody not named Curry is expendable at this point. I believe that because we could replace most everyone else with various combinations that would be about the same level. There is no replacing Curry.

That isn’t the question that people are just now starting to work up the courage to ask… Are we better without Lee? That’s the question right now.

Nope. Bogut missed a lot of PT and this is his longest stretch. His contributions have made up for Lee’s absence, but if we had Lee, we'd be that much better. The rest of the team has really stepped up too, but that's what good team do. Ask this question again if we find ourselves advancing and getting torn new ones by Zack Randolph.

So is Lee expendable? Yeah. Would we be up 2-0 right now if he was healthy? Yeah.

Us playing better has more to do with Bogut. Lee is good and productive towards winning. But Bogut is our second best player when fully healthy.

agreed. While that is clear to me ATM, not sure it will be that way with Klay having another year under his belt and when we see Lee and Bogut on the court together for a long stretch. I think Lee is really good, but the question is, "who is more valuable?" Answer is Bogut... for now, but this changes all the time (for me personally). All I know:

1. Curry

.
2-5. Everyone else

Precisely. And until Bogut can prove he'll be healthy for the majority of a full season, we'll need Lee in tow. Without Lee and Bogut, this team gets a LOT worse. One or the other and the guards can carry us when they shoot the lights out. But Curry and Klay both slumped at certain points this year and Lee (along with Landry and Jack, in lesser spurts) was handy to carry the offense when that happened.

We need them all. I wouldn't want to get rid of any of the players right now with how the team is performing. This team is so young and already so good that they will only get better.
