I have thought since getting Bogut that we have the players to be a contender, but nothing like having a superstar, another one, as Curry looks superstar right now. What a steal this season he has been.

Don't see any superstar attainable right now, but maybe a stral of a trade for Paul Pierce, who is gettable after this season, can happen. A steal like Rush and Jack or Landry for PP. Pierce is old now and likely will only be around another three years, but it gives a star player that can push the team to real contender. Who knows, but I'd rather keep the team as is and evaluate it all after next season, besides trading either or both AB and RJ this offseason.

The finals. Lost to the Lakers.

Safe to assume that when Curry scores 40+ , we lose? 44pts and 11asts vs the Spurs ... beast stat line...but a loss. And yeah keep feeding the beast when the 'human torch' is on fire. And do realize Curry's gotta shoulder more of the load with D. Lee out. But can't help thinking this team is better when we have multiple players involved / more team ball. I mean Carl Landry only played 14min and took only 5 shots in the entire game (making 4). Thoughts?

The loss coincided with Klay foulling out and Jackson not finding rest for Curry. Not because Curry played well until his legs were jello.

Klay is huge to this team.

I very curious to see if he still has room to improve defensively.

Are we still over-valuing Curry, 8th?

I put him 4th midway through the season... and I stick by that claim. To me, there's no one better, save for Paul, Westbrook, and a healthy DRose.

Only that keeps Westbrook and Curry tied for me is Westbrook's defense.

Curry is 100 percent better on offense. Scores better and makes better choices on offense.

Based on this season alone
Paul, Parker, Curry/Westbrook

Curry will probably go into the hall of fame if he maintains this level of production for a while.

Agreed about the Westbrook thing, offensively. He's such a freak athlete, it wouldn't be close if Westbrook had Curry's legs. My list this season would be:

Paul, Westbrook, Curry, Parker.

And that's just because I like Curry's flavor better than Parker.

I can acknowledge that Parker had the superior season, statistically.

I think that's fair because I am a homer, but also because they score roughly the same on their possessions, but he has a much higher assist rate. How much of that high assist rate is due to Popovich and would it translate to other teams?

The way he's played the last month and a half at least, he's the best PG there is.

Based on his numbers in the playoffs thus far, no question.

But taking more than the post-season into account, I'd still say Paul and Westbrook are better. Curry would have been the starting PG in the all-star game in the East this year.

Absolutely, but Curry is far more than his shooting, which is all alot of people just see in him. He distributes well and playmakes very well.
