Anyone else think that this may be the beginning of Curry's hall of fame career? Call me crazy, but he has a shot in passin up Reggie and Allen. It's gonna be tough and his ankle has to hold up for a long, long time, but if it clicks, he can make a run at it. This would be great for our franchise if he does.

Just think, in about 15 years, we can have a moment like this:

Gives me the chills, man.

Always respected Reggie. One of the best ever, in my book. I give players that play for one team a lot more worth than to those who switch teams looking for more money, or for another star to help them win it all. Of course, that's only for star players, can't blame a role player, or a starter for switching teams, it's not like he can choose always...but the big names, they can.

And this video makes me feel good, that's what sports should be about. Reggie has a legacy...it's a movie-like story, and certainly worth of making one. Made my eyes wet.

Hopefully, we will see Curry retire in the same fashion.

Curry is further along at this point then either of those guys were - not sure about stats but he is in terms of skill. Plus let's not forget that Curry is a PG. He has a good chance to go down as the greatest 3 pt PG of all time. That is if his ankle holds up of course.

I am going to use Nash's fifth season to start with because that is when he got a lot more minutes and this season for Curry.

Synergy
Steve Nash: 115 (O) 106 (D)
Stephen Curry: 113 (O) 106 (D)

True Shooting and Effective Field Goal Percentage
Steve Nash TS 603 and eFG 544
Stephen Curry TS 576 and eFG 535

Assist Percentage
Steve Nash: 34.6
Stephen Curry: 29.1

WS/48
Nash: .169
Curry: .163

True Rebounding Rate
Nash: 5.8
Curry: 6

Usage Rating:
Nash: 20
Curry: 24

Basically this means Nash was better and more efficient in his fifth season, but was used less (still high usage), and is not utilized as much as Curry is utilized, but they are really ****ing close. Career wise, I see no reason why Curry can not be just as good as Nash is/was especially since Curry is better in his fourth year than Nash was.

Nash was more of a passer and playmaker than Curry is, who is more of a scorer than Nash ever really was, though not by much.

This year and in Nash's peak definitely. But you have to consider, in Nash's best year, he ran the best offense of all time.

No joke.

He made scrubs, like Q-Rich, filthy wealth. He put above-average freaks, like Joe Johnson and Amare Stoudamire, in franchise player discussions. He gave cast-offs like Channing Frye a niche. Steve Nash, at his peak, was pure basketball inspiration; perhaps the greatest muse of all time.
