This game will be a good indicator on how much our team has improved. I think it will be close.

I want us to pull a Popovich on this one. Rest the starters to improve our chances for the Magic/Hawks.

Off the bat Lee has to draw doubles and kick. If LeBron goes for weak side help, Barnes has to knock down some shots. A lot of things have to go right if we want to win this game. Almost no room for error.

Don't mean to be negative, but I agree that a couple of starters at least should be rested, like Curry, Lee and Klay. Play Barnes, Green and Jack alot, see how the players react.

This is a slew of bad-matchups.

Wade lives off of putting fouls on guys like Klay Thompson, whom haven't yet been established in the eyes of the refs. And he'll eat Jack alive if they try that route.

Lee excels against slower forwards. They'll almost certainly have LeBron on him, which will give Lee fits because James is an A+ defender who can recovery even if Lee uses his pump fake well.

Barnes should get his versus Shard, but if they switch him off to cover LeBron defensively (giving Lee the easy assignment vs Shard), James should have a field day against the rookie.

Chris Bosh is the anti-Ezeli. Gonna stay outside the paint and work his pick and pops. Bosh has been scoring well this year; look for Lee to get him after the first 5 minutes when they bring in Landry to spell Festus. At that point, I dunno who you put on CB1. Lee will give him all he wants from the mid-range, where he's hit this year... and Landry will play him too close, giving him the lane. Bosh is the X-Factor, to me.

Hate to be negative, but it's just hard to envision beating this team. If you can convince Wade and LeBron to shoot jumpers and dominate the glass (like you have all season) and hang around until the 4th, it's doable. But damn, it'll be tough to convince Wade his best chance at scoring on Thompson will be pulling up every time.

If i were Miami, I'd put Lewis on Ezeli, Lebron on Curry, Bosh on Lee, and Wade on Thompson. I think if they do that they'd shut us down and we'd have to rely on our bench to pull us back into the game.

barnes/green on lebron, foul him as much as it takes to at least disrupt his rhythm.
lee/landry/bosh - a wash with lee owning the boards.
klay/jack on wade - make him shoot jumpers, and try to keep klay out of foul trouble.
curry eats mario chalmers.

otherwise (90-10) it's a run run open court game.
if we manage to swing the ball, curry/thompson must take every three they can (see NY).
if the shot is falling and we don't turn the ball over we have a chance.

I'm gonna say the only chance they have is Landry.

If the Warriors can establish a post game, they'll re-open the shooters on the arc. Miami is going to zone in on Curry and try to neutralize him from the start. The Warriors need that Lee-Landry tandem to get some, and with Lee likely to get no help from the refs inside tonight, you gotta hope Landry can maintain a constant stream of easy inside buckets.

Pound them in the paint and the rain will follow. You can't run with Miami.
