Didn't see the whole game, but by the looks of the box score, Riley and Best were beasty. Longshore had two interceptions, though? Why was he in there? Vereen came through behind Best as well.

About the split possession call, I thought it could have gone either way, it was close and could have been an INT, but wasn't clearly an INT, so in that situation it was a good call. I thought our 2nd TD that was waived off should have counted, it looked like he had it. The 1st TD was obviously the right call tho. In my opinion our receivers were alright, especially Mark Dell who played pretty well. It was Hoyer who IMO had a sloppy game at QB which hurt us offensively, and yeah our D-line could have been better. And yeah, my dad went to MSU. Cal is my #2 though, I'm not really a Stanford fan at all, so I root for them if they aren't playing Mich state. |

oh ok i then i get it,no beef really with msu some other big ten schools im not a fan of but really no prob with them.

Probably because UCLA faced a ranked team when Cal didn't.

I know WSU sucks but god damn is Best the real deal! Javhid Best FOr heisman haha! Of course the fact that he went to my high school may make me a little bias haha

Damn, that was bad. Didn't watch the whole game, but I watched until halfway through the 3rd and damn.
But Cal flew in Friday. If you're going to play on the East coast, at least fly in Thursday at the latest. Jet lag is killer. Don't hate yourself in the morning... sleep 'til noon.

My wife kept asking me why I was watching something that made me so mad. I've been a Cal fan my entire life, what else am I supposed to do? I'm really getting sick of Cal's level of play any time they travel East. They looked completely unprepared and got the snot kicked out of them. Much like the Tenn game 2 years ago. They don't play on national TV often but when they do, they play right into that mind set of the PAC 10 being a sub-par conference. Embarrassing!

haven't seen Tavis around since about the time of this! Anyway, any Stanford or SJSU fans out there? I'm excited for this game, I think SJSU has a chance this year. Not that Stanford is all that great, but a 37-0 ass kicking needs to be redeemed. Spartans look good so far. Stanford...not so much |
